In my case it was one of the parking lots used as an arrival for a motorcycle rally in April so I have no idea of the needs during the high season. However, it appeared clean, easy and close to the lake

The paid parking is located near the areas equipped for sports activities. It also has an adjacent picnic area. It is not suitable for camping and, in fact, the local police often verify compliance with the rules, that is, the use of the area solely as a parking lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parcheggio molto comodo, praticamente in riva al lago, a pagamento durante il giorno e gratuito la notte (utilizzato quindi come sosta notturna dai camper in transito). Dispone inoltre di 4/5 posti gratuiti. Ci abbiamo dormito e si è stati molto tranquilli e al fresco.
Very convenient parking, practically by the lake, for a fee during the day and free at night (therefore used as an overnight stop by campers in transit). It also has 4/5 free seats. We slept there and it was very quiet and cool.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono due parcheggi, non so perché numerati 1 e 3, nel primo è vietata la sosta camper (vicino entrata campeggio) nel secondo, numero 3 il parcheggio è molto grande e a pochi passi dal lago.
There are two car parks, I don't know why they are numbered 1 and 3, in the first it is forbidden to park campers (near the campsite entrance) in the second, number 3 the parking lot is very large and a few steps from the lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Lago di Santa Croce is a semi-natural lake in the province of Belluno, Veneto, northern Italy. It is part of the communes of Alpago and Ponte nelle Alpi.
The lake is located at 386 metres (1,266 feet) ASL and currently has an area of 7.2 square kilometres (2.8 sq mi), with an average depth of 33 metres (108 feet).
It was originally naturally a smaller lake, but was expanded with a dam during the 1930s.
Outlets of the lake include the Piave.
The area is quite a windy location and as such is a popular sailing, watersports and kitesurfing location.
