Magnificent place, unfortunately even as there are trash cans, it seems not usual to use them, as the small beach is full of rubbish

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viste le foto e le recensioni recenti ci siamo stati a gennaio 2021 con il camper. Parcheggio chiuso da una stanga. Spiaggia inesistente e le 2 persone viste per nulla accondiscendente
Tutto in degrado e probabilmente abusivo. Ho evitato di fare foto ma NON guardate quelle nei post perché corrispondono ad almeno 15 anni fa.
Given the photos and recent reviews we were there in January 2021 with the camper. Parking closed by a pole. Beach non-existent and the 2 people seen not at all condescending
All in decay and probably abusive. I avoided taking pictures but DO NOT look at those in the posts because they correspond to at least 15 years ago.

Beautiful view of the Etna on the sea, in winter the sandy beach is always free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ample car parking in this little harbour from where you may shoot to an array of pretty bays close-by. Crowded during the hot season it becomes a little haven in fall. The beach is sheltered from strong winds and is quite safe for children due to its shallow waters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waze took be to a spot adjacent to it that involve going through very narrow roads and ended at a road with no parking (except on the road next to houses). I attempted to access the site from the North side but the road was gated, it was during the offseason so that may have been why. The site is nice and seems to be a great place to fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sea water was quite dirty yesterday, foam appearing on the surface. The artificial channel do not have positive effect on overall picture as the water is very shallow (evaporated) at the beginning of the channel and thus looks dirty. The beach is very modest and small. There is also stone beach 3 min away (over small hill on the left) but due to big waives we were not able to swim there. We will try it again in next days, as it could be nice when the sea is more calm.
