Parc Hotel Gritti

One previous post said hotel grotti now I know why. We booked this hotel 5 months in advance due to the fact it is our ruby wedding anniversary this year so we could enjoy it away from home. We had to spend over 3 thousand GBP to get the holiday we wanted. On first impressions theroom looked OK then we started to see larger marks on the walls the patio door frame and doors were flaking and showing black rotten areas inside and out. The outside frames were peeling and looked like they were just not finished which we noticed other outside balconies looked the same. They say this hotel was recently refurbished well if that's the case it must've stopped before it reached room 301. We told our tui rep josh and he took the manager to the room and admitied it needed some tlc. We got a refund of our breakfast which we were charged for because we had it in the room. Wow. Tui now say they do not want any of there customers staying in that room. It spoilt our holiday but we did not let it ruin it. The staff overall were good and the room was clean. But when you're wife has to clean up the room floor because the air conditioning unit went faulty and left the room floor wet and we're told no one could come to the room and deal with it that's the last straw. It was 11 oclock at night and no staff are available that's just not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. So if you go to this hotel and they tri to put you in room 301 beware at your peril.

The hotel is top class, the gardens are impressive . It offers top quality restaurant food with a choice of snacks and two dining rooms to choose from for both breakfast and dinner offering a wide variety of choice to guests in both formal and relaxed settings wellness centre is nice to chill out with relaxing music of birdsong and Pan pipes piano bar is very nice would rate the hotel 8 out of 10 NB

Outstanding - the hotel is in an ideal location. Amazing grounds and amenities. The hotel room was clean and contemporary. The breakfast choices were amazing, with something to suit everyone. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. This was our first visit but hopefully not our last. Thank you.

Location is everything! Being able to walk down from your room to the lake beach and the town shopping area was perfect! Staff was super helpful and professional. Parking garage in this area is a huge plus! Rooms were very neatly updated and clean. The grounds were very nicely kept. Breakfast buffet was good and had great variety. Bathrooms seemed a bit outdated though the cleanliness was a plus. Also rooms seemed to have very little soundproofing. Though with the location we were hardly in our room anyways.

I went here in 2019 and it was the most amazing hotel that I have ever been to! Food and drinks were excellent As well as their service omg it was quality and so professional

This hotel used to be great. When I was little, my parents and I would go here a lot. Back then, it was one of the finest hotels at the Garda lake. Unfortunately, this hotel has gone through she same development as most other Parc Hotel Group Hotels in this area: it has been converted to a mediocre hotel for big tourist groups. Don't get me wrong, this is still an okay hotel, some would consider it good, but it's just lost a lot of its former glory. If you're interested, I'll provide a more detailed review: Location: The location of this hotel is virtually unbeatable. The harbor with the town center of Bardolino is a 5 minute walk away, they're directly at the lake and have both a beach and a car-accessible road right in front of it which is great for getting there and for going for a swim in summer. Facilities: This hotel has parking (which I believe is free), a very nice swimming pool from the old days, a big restaurant for breakfast and dinner and in summer a mini club. Rooms: I recall the rooms to be of average size, with everything you need provided. Not much to say about them. Food: This is where the trouble starts; the food at the restaurant used to be of very high quality, but in the last decade it's deteriorated a lot. The breakfast buffet is now aimed towards large groups of bus tourists who simply need to eat. The food is made freshly, but it'll usually spend quite a time already prepared before actually being eaten, which often leads to it losing taste and a loss of freshness. It's usually also pretty noisy and full at the breakfast buffet. Staff: The staff here is alright. Think your average hotel staff, they're friendly, will of course make your stay as enjoyable as possible, but they're not the wizards that you have in five-star-hotels. Price: Now, all of this is fine for a usual hotel. However, they still charge you quite a lot for what they provide to you. This hotel is just a little bit too expensive for what it is by now. Of course, it's not as expensive as the very best hotels in this area, but it's just not worth the money they want for it. And a word of warning: As I said, all Parc Hotels in this area suffer from the same kind of problems, unfortunately. If you can find this hotel or one of the others of this group for an acceptable price, go ahead but the money they usually want is not really worth it in any of these hotels.

Old and frozen food, too old structure and the place is nothing compared with other 4-stars hotels.

The location of the hotel was perfect and the outside area, pool was huge and clean. The food was acceptable, I have to admit that that the hotel was overpriced compared to the quality what we got. The breakfast was very bad, also not so many things to chose from. The personal at the breakfast who welcomed us was not so friendly but at least they spoke more languages. The room was clean and comfortable.
