Arrivo alle 20.30, prenoto una piadina e un panino, di semplice e veloce fattura, roba che mia nonna faceva a casa in 5 minuti.
Dopo 15 minuti di attesa mi dicono che devo aspettare altri 15 minuti, e passata la mezz'ora...passa un'altra mezz'ora.
Si fanno le 21.30....chiedo giustificazioni sul ritardo e mi rispondono che è sabato e quindi ci sono molte ordinazioni.
Là dentro si e no c'erano 5 persone, le restanti erano tutte ordinazioni a domicilio.
Ci voleva un secondo a fare un panino piuttosto che tenermi la un'ora con la presa per i fondelli.
Alle mie rimostranze un giovanotto, colpito dal mio accento, con fare sgarbato mi chiede: " A Catania quanto aspettate per un panino?"
Pago, lascio il resto, me ne scappo.
A Catania non aspettiamo un'ora manco per la pizza al tavolo, e comunque, a Catania c'è rispetto per il cliente.
La recensione era dovuta.

I arrive at 8.30 pm, I book a flatbread and a sandwich, of simple and quick workmanship, stuff that my grandmother made at home in 5 minutes.
After 15 minutes of waiting they tell me that I have to wait another 15 minutes, and after half an hour ... another half hour goes by.
It is 9.30 pm .... I ask for justifications for the delay and they reply that it is Saturday and therefore there are many orders.
Yes and no there were 5 people in there, the rest were all home orders.
It took a second to make a sandwich rather than keep me there for an hour with the grip for the bottoms.
To my grievances, a young man, struck by my accent, asks me rudely: "How long are you waiting for a sandwich in Catania?"
I pay, I leave the rest, I run away.
In Catania we don't wait an hour for the pizza at the table, and in any case, in Catania there is respect for the customer.

con la mia famiglia, abbiamo scoperto questa bella panineria, molto pulita, personale gentile e disponibile e soprattutto, dove fanno panini buonissimi e molto pieni di carne e condimenti. Fantastico il panino con la porchetta di Ariccia e gli amburger con la carne di asino e di Chianina. Prezzi standard. Ho visto altre specialità nel menù, che proveremo la prossima volta che passiamo da quelle parti. Consigliatissimo.
Going towards Marzamemi in the evening
with my family, we discovered this beautiful sandwich shop, very clean, friendly and helpful staff and above all, where they make very good sandwiches and very full of meat and toppings. The sandwich with Ariccia porchetta and the hamburgers with donkey and Chianina meat are fantastic. Standard prices. I have seen other specialties on the menu, which we will try next time we pass over there. Highly recommended.
