★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a ham & cheese sandwich, waited over 20 minutes for it and it never came. By this time we needed to get on the ferry so we went to pay for our drinks when then he realized he never made the sandwich. We tried explaining that we needed to go and he angrily made one on the spot. We insisted that we didn’t want it and he proceeded to get angry, argue with us and throw the sandwich on the ground. Atrocious service, don’t recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient prior to departure with Virtu Ferries. I had a burger with chips which was good and the portion was generous. Prices are not expensive and they have the famous Maltese Cisk Lager.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon arrival we were completely ignored. We sat down ordered some drinks and a sandwich. After around 20 minutes the toast was still nowhere to be seen. As we needed to catch the boat back to Malta we decided to just tell the guy to leave the toast as we needed to go. We decided to tell the man working there that we didn’t want the toast to this he started screaming and then saying it’s soon done it’s soon done when I’m fact it wasn’t even started. After trying to convince us to stay he got the ‘ready’ sandwich which we denied after being yelled at and threw it on the floor. To conclude this it’s probably faster to catch a fish from the sea 5 min away then it is to make a toast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat well, abundantly and at a reasonable price. I love to stop over on my way back to the ferry port to catch the catamaran to Malta. It is great to park the motorbike right in front of the restaurant. This time we ordered horse meat and another plate with three different meats - all served with fried potatoes and grilled vegetables. They were delicious, as was the fresh bread and the cream of coffee with panna which we had as dessert!

They charged us €26 for a grilled Veg Plate in the pic and €48 for a fritto misto

Definitely won’t go again
