Arrivati all'una e mezza di notte lo abbiamo trovato aperto, con i fornai al lavoro, e i giovani locali che entravano e uscivano, chi con un pezzo di pizza in mano, chi con un cornetto... li abbiamo invidiati. La mattina dopo abbiamo fatto un lungo giro del paese, siamo passati davanti ad un altro forno, più piccolo e più "turistico", abbiamo assaggiato la pizza bianca ed era buona. ma non aveva altro che invogliasse un "forestiero". Ripassati davanti a "Panificio Tuscia" c'era un via vai di massaie locali, e la spesa l'abbiamo fatta lì. Tutto buono, con alcuni tocchi di originalità, e buoni i prezzi.
Bagnoregio is a relatively small village, and has two ovens. This is certainly the main one. Arrived at half past one in the morning we found it open, with the bakers at work, and the young locals coming and going, some with a piece of pizza in hand, some with a croissant ... we envied them. The next morning we took a long tour of the village, we passed another oven, smaller and more "touristy", we tasted the white pizza and it was good. but he had nothing else to entice a "stranger". Passed back in front of "Panificio Tuscia" there was a coming and going of local housewives, and we did the shopping there. All good, with some touches of originality, and good prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tappa fissa una volta all'anno appena arrivo da Milano. Maritozzi con la panna spettacolari, tozzetti al vino (tipo cantucci) pizza e focaccia da urlo.
Inoltre torte crostate una meglio dell'altra.
Da visitare se siete in zona per acquisti.

Fixed stop once a year as soon as I arrive from Milan. Spectacular husbands with cream, tozzetti al vino (like cantucci), pizza and focaccia to scream.
Plus pies tarts one better than the other.
A must visit if you are in the area for shopping.
