★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the sweet breads are not that great; however, this place has THE BEST WHEAT SCHIACCIATA I HAVE EVER TASTED! I highly recommend trying this Tuscan specialty from Panificio Moderno. I would buy sheets of this bread and take it with me on trips to Germany and Austria as a housewarming gift. It was always consumed within 4 hours or so. Really tasty with the perfect amount of olive oil. If you are in the neighborhood, hope it is still available, because the early bird gets the worm. Prices are good, cash only operation, so bring Euros.
