Si trovano tutti i prodotti, pane salumi dolci granite gelati focacce e vasto assortimento di rosticceria, in questo periodo però è chiuso

Hier bekommt man immer einen guten Snack, leckeres Eis oder auch ein leckeres Brot. Einziger Abzug dass die Gerichte manchmal nicht so gut gewürzt sind.

Buonissima la schiacciata con verdure e salsiccia, la prox volta più cordialità e personale più attento all'ordine e alla pulizia fuori ai tavoli.

Una giornata di mare, fame che sale e decidiamo di recarci in questo panificio perché dicono che il cibo è buono ( effettivamente è stato proprio così). Una stella per il personale perché salvo una sola ragazza che mi pare si chiamasse Agnese ( molto solare e cortese) non mi ha calcolata nessuno. Forse perché sono tanto giovane. Addirittura una di queste ha risposto anche in malo modo alla stessa collega. Altre due spazzavano in terra per eliminare la sabbia o sporcizia che sia tanto che sono arrivate a spazzarmi anche sui piedi senza chiedere neanche scusa ( meno male che sono già sposata!). Cibo davvero buono peccato che non ci tornerò più per il personale scortese e ineducato.

Una stella sola perché ber ben due volte il cibo acquistato è finito nella spazzatura! Insalata di riso acida (sicuramente residuo del giorno prima), la rosticceria quasi priva di condimento e quel poco che c’era di scarsa qualità, i tranci di pizza crudi e con salsa acida. Il pane immangiabile, troppo gommoso e poco morbido. Di sicuro non ci ritorneremo la terza volta!!!!

This is a great location for local food near the beach at Marina di Modica. It has everything you need to grab an affordable snack or meal to enjoy on the beach. They serve traditional Sicilian street food including many varieties of Scacce, Arancini and of course pizza. Scacce is something I've been eating forever. My Nonna use to make some delicious ones. It is kind of like a calzone but folded twice so there is soft dough in the middle. The fillings consist of sausage & ricotta, parsley & sauce, eggplant & sauce, and onion & tomatoes to name a few. On our last visit we grabbed two pieces of pizza margarita and two scacce stuffed with sausage and ricotta for $6 Euro for everything. That's a great deal and it's a ton of food. Each item was only $1.50 Euro each. The best part is they wrap it all up it for take away and it looks like a present. This makes it very easy to eat on the beach plus you don't want to get sand in your food. This place has a bakery too. If you are in the mood you can buy some fresh baked bread. Four years ago on our last visit, we use to go every morning and grab hot buns and have the deli guy slice us some mortadella. We would then make our own sandwiches for breakfast and eat them on the beach. We'd then head to the business next door for a cappuccino. They have many pre-made salads you can buy. It's almost like a grocery store in New York where you buy as much as you want. The only difference here is the staff packs the food for you. I also recommend you grab a ticket at the front. This way no one will skip in front of you. This place can get very packed around lunch, so be patient. They will run out of food as it gets later in the evening. If they are out of a certain item, they will not make more. There is no waste here and I love that. I do know that the giant pizza squares do not come out until 12:30pm. That's my dinning tip for you. If you've never had traditional Sicilian food then this is the place for you. It's a great introduction into the local food and it's very affordable. I'm looking forward to my next visit for some amazing food on the beach. This is my review from four years ago when I thought this was the name of the parking lot and I didn't know it was the store. So instead of deleting it I'm leaving it up here because it has some fun stores and info about the parking lot outside this restaurant. This is basically the parking lot for Marina de Modica. There is always a police officer nearby if you run into an emergency. I'm not sure they have time to help you but they are there. I also recommend you follow the parking rules cause that cop will give you a ticket. I always enjoy when someone gets a ticket here cause they fully verbally assault the cop and the cop verbally fights back. This would not fly in America. Someone would end up dead or arrested. This plaza also hosts many events so check the signs in the plaza for upcoming events. Last summer they had singers for 3 nights like American Idol. It was very cute. We want for an hour because we could hear the music all the way down the street by our house. We did vow to not go back. The best part is that we ran into people we knew. They offered to buy us gelato but we were so stuffed from dinner. This parking lot has fantastic views of the sea. In August the beach wi be completely packed with a sea of beach umbrellas. It is an amazing site to see and looks like a movie set. Remember to wear sun screen cause it gets hot and you will burn. There are plenty of places to eat around the plaza so investigate. I go to the bakery down the alley for fresh bread and the little grocery store up the street for fresh sliced mortadella. It's the best breakfast ever.
