★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pane di casa, pizza al taglio e ina buonissima scacciata casareccia con broccolo, salsiccia, pomodoro e formaggio. Ottimo posto per uno spuntino veloce dopo una giornata in montagna o in bici.
Homemade bread, pizza by the slice and delicious homemade scacciata with broccoli, sausage, tomato and cheese. Great place for a quick snack after a day in the mountains or biking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 2012 I have visited Sicily for the 1st time and my first stop was at this place that looked like a house that was actually a store… that was because my friend who’ve picked me up from the airport in Catania insisted to stop and buy few slices of pizza on our way to the hotel. The rest is history for me and my family - we instantly fell in love with Sicily because the very first thing we ate was the most natural, most genuine pizza, made from the best flour, sausages and leafy greens - a schiaciatta so good that became our “north star” whenever we returned to Sicily.
But the impressive food you find here is only 50% of the experience.
The other 50% is the atmosphere created by owners who chose to feed their community everyday, baking the best bread, pizza, cantucini (almond biscuits) using the special ingredients that you can only find in Sicily.
I am still impressed after so many years with their lifestyle, that “punches” me in the heart and brain, because it gives me a benchmark of how a life well lived looks like… So, my recommendation is to simply enter this place quietly, buy a slice of pizza, savor it outside and observe how life is lived beautifully…
