★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solo una sbirciatina all'antico forno con la volta in ciottoli fluviali vale la visita. Ottimo pane di Matera, anche se non fa parte del consorzio, taralli integrali con semola di grano duro e biscotti di solo farro integrale veramente squisiti.
Only a peek at the ancient oven with the river pebble vault is worth the visit. Excellent Matera bread, even if it is not part of the consortium, whole taralli with durum wheat semolina and truly exquisite wholemeal spelled biscuits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi fermo quando passo da Matera , deviando di proposito per comprare questo pane squisito , e non solo . Profumi e sapori d'altri tempi , in una piccola bottega con antico forno a legna e dove il tempo sembra si sia fermato .
I stop when I pass by Matera, deliberately deviating to buy this exquisite bread, and more. Aromas and flavors of other times, in a small shop with an old wood-burning oven and where time seems to have stopped.
