Not really convenient if you are driving but the stop rewards you. Great traditional pastry and great bread. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classico forno, con annesso piccolo bar, dove si trova ancor il pane come si faceva una volta. Io gradisco, in particolar modo, la famosa ciabatta carsolina di pregevole fattura. Vasta scelta di dolci e superba la lavorazione della "rollata" in tutte le sue varianti. Per la stessa meriterebbe la quinta stella. Molto bene
Classic oven, with an adjoining small bar, where you can still find bread as it once was. I especially like the famous Karst slipper of fine workmanship. Wide choice of desserts and superb processing of the "rollata" in all its variations. For the same it deserves the fifth star. Very good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery was INCREDIBLE. The staff are so, so nice. We were on a hiking trip through Slovenia and hiked into Italy our last day-this was the fist place we went! Also, if anyone knows the name of the cookie in the far right corner of this photo (crescent/horseshoe shaped with tiny chocolate chips and lemon zest) I would so appreciate it!! Grazie!!
