Il proprietario simpaticissimo e operativo , la signorina che ci ha accolto di una premura discreta ma gentilissima! Ottimo per caricarsi prima della salita, rigenerante dopo aver visitato la rocca comunque consigliatissimo! Il locale ha a disposizione alcune sale ben addobbate con gli utensili e l'oggettistica dei contadini di un tempo. La gestione è a livello famigliare, e a servirci è stata una ragazza,molto gentile, che ci ha illustrato brevemente i prodotti locali che hanno riempito i nostri panini: mortadella di Campotosto, salame di pecora e formaggi. Tutti prodotti di qualità, che al primo morso esplodono in bocca con tutto il loro sapore. Ad accompagnare i nostri panini un buon Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Il locale è inserito in un ambiente con soffitto a volta e "addobbato" con utensili e accessori di un tempo. Il servizio lascia il tempo che trova ma in caso di fame va più che bene. Da vedere! I panini sono ben sostanziosi e ci sono piaciuti. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Possibilità di poter pagare con il bancomat ma potrebbero esserci problemi con la linea internet. Locale consigliato. Allego le foto del menu e del locale. I formaggi di mucca e pecorini utilizzati sono eccezionali, così come il prosciutto, la pancetta o la famosa mortadella di Campotosto. I proprietari veramente disponibili e gentili, il locale molto caratteristico con due belle stanze grandi arredate con tanti attrezzi e accessori d'epoca. La paninoteca è situata in un vicolo di Calascio, in fondo alle scale. Assolutamente da provare Excellent restaurant and sandwich shop. Vasta scelta di panini con salumi, formaggi e altri prodotti locali di alta qualità. Noi abbiamo preso un tagliere misto, che ci è stato servito con pane caldo condito con olio. Tutto veramente ottimo. Non aspettatevi il servizio da ristorante, ma godete della semplicità del luogo e della simpatia e gentilezza del gestore.
