Molto molto coinvolgente vedere il mondo come se si fosse ancora bambini quando ci si sedeva su una panchina e non si toccava a terra coi piedi. It is beautiful to walk among the vines and fruit trees. Sit back and admire the view. Very very engaging to see the world as if you were still a child when you sat on a bench and did not touch the ground with your feet.

Visitando cantine e vigne ci siamo imbattuti nel BIG BENCH COMMUNITY PROJECT (BBCP) un'iniziativa nata per sostenere le comunità locali, il turismo e le eccellenze artigiane dei paesi in cui si trovano queste installazioni. La Grande Panchina Rossa di Clavesana Borgata Gorrea, si può raggiungere facilmente seguendo una stretta strada asfaltata che dalla provinciale porta direttamente nel cortile di Chris Bangle ideatore del progetto Big Bench, dopo aver parcheggiato è possibile raggiungere il posto dov'è situata con 15 minuti di cammino. La panchina è nel mezzo di un vigneto con spettacolare vista sulla Langa. In lontananza si scorgono le Alpi che dominano la pianura cuneese. Semplicemente incantevole. My partner and I spent a wonderful mid-August in the Langhe. Visiting wineries and vineyards we came across BIG BENCH COMMUNITY PROJECT (BBCP) an initiative created to support local communities, tourism and craft excellence in the countries where these installations are located. The Great Red Bench of Clavesana Borgata Gorrea, can be easily reached by following a narrow paved road that from the provincial road leads directly into the courtyard of Chris Bangle, creator of the Big Bench project, after parking you can reach the place where it is located with 15 minutes of I walk. The bench is in the middle of a vineyard with spectacular views of the Langa. In the distance you can see the Alps that dominate the Cuneo plain. Simply lovely.

F	Fabio Borgogno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La panchina gigante, quella originale. Si trova nelle vigne di proprietà dell'architetto Chris Bangle. Si parcheggia nel suo cortile, di fronte al suo studio, e si procede a piedi nella piccola frazione, scendendo poi da una piccola strada sterrata e infine lungo una capezzagna. Sono presenti dei cartelli che indicano il percorso. Purtroppo ci siamo stati alcuni giorni dopo una nevicata e, a causa dello scioglimento della neve, ci siamo sporcati di fango. Si tratta, ovviamente, di un luogo in campagna quindi è normale che ci sia fango. Consiglio, comunque, di andarci in una stagione asciutta (il terreno è argilloso e quindi si rischia davvero di rimanere impantanati). Consiglio scarpe e vestiti di ricambio. Il percorso a piedi attraversa cortili e vigneti di altri proprietari, per cui cercate di essere rispettosi della proprietà privata e non attraversate i vigneti altrui. Il luogo è piuttosto isolato e, quindi, assolutamente silenzioso. Il panorama è magnifico. Immagino che nei periodi turistici, però, ci sia un grande affollamento e, quindi, si perda il significato dell'opera come oasi di pace. Peccato per gli imponenti lavori di ristrutturazione degli edifici della borgata che creano molto disordine. The giant bench, the original one. It is located in the vineyards owned by architect Chris Bangle. You park in his yard, in front of his study, and proceed on foot in the small village, then descend from a small dirt road and finally along a headland. There are signs indicating the route. Unfortunately we were there a few days after a snowfall and, because of the melting snow, we got muddy. This is obviously a place in the country so it is normal that there is mud. I recommend, however, to go there in a dry season (the soil is clayey so you can really get bogged down). I recommend shoes and spare clothes. The walking path crosses the courtyards and vineyards of other owners, so try to be respectful of private property and do not cross the vineyards of others. The place is rather isolated and, therefore, absolutely silent. The view is magnificent. I imagine that in the tourist periods, however, there is a great crowd and, therefore, the meaning of the work as an oasis of peace is lost. Too bad for the massive renovation of the buildings of the village that create a lot of disorder.

Molto bello e ampio il panorama sui vigneti e sulle colline delle Langhe. La n. 1 è di colore rosso, con una targa che sottolinea il suo farci tornare bambini, è in un bel punto panoramico raggiungibile dopo un borghetto delizioso. The giant benches are a classic of the Langhe, there are paths that connect them and a "passport" to be stamped for those who want to see them all. The n. 1 is red, with a plaque that underlines its making us children again, it is in a nice panoramic point reachable after a delightful hamlet.

Veramente una fantastica esperienza! Abbiamo rubato qualche minuto a questo artista veramente estroso e giocherellone con i più piccoli la moglie e stata anche lei molto gentile e cordiale !
