Bel sito archeologico, del XV - XIII sec. AC.
Beautiful archaeological site, from the XV - XIII century. B.C. You can also walk to the town of Panarea (about 2 km, but with a non-demanding route). It is also possible to arrive with the minitaxi who can leave you at the previous beach (recommended beach to visit)

Prehistoric settlement dating back to the Bronze Age mafia which occupies a rocky promontory overlooking the sea.

What to say? Archaeological site of about 3500/3000 years ago! Ancient dwellings on this natural fortress in an incredible context. The village is connected to the rest of the island only by a small isthmus which has 2 exciting beaches on both sides. A bit of regret because it seems a bit abandoned to itself, however there are signs with descriptions and representations of what the village must have looked like.

Must see in Panarea. Be mindful that the path up can be tricky, travel light, but bring water. The views will repay you, and the thought that ten thousand years ago there was a village of our ancestors in what used to be the largest island of the archipelago, now the smallest, makes you think.

very nice remains of an ancient settlement of 2000 B.C. built during the bronze age. built on a peninsula very elevated from the sea for defence and trade. not much apart from walls and a few ceramics but incredibly well preserved. also great views of surrounding eolian islands.
