It was built mid 1200. Interesting bit of history that it was once used as a prison and Marco Polo was one of its most famous residents.

The exterior is one the finest looking.. the way the outer walls of this building are painted, it makes it very much attractive and this style also attracts the tourists from everywhere. The look it gives is fascinating. Without any doubt it is one the most beautiful buildings in Genoa. Good hub for photography.
