La proprietaria è gentilissima e il posto (chiamarlo appartamento è piuttosto riduttivo) è grandisioso. Bello, ben posizionato e fornito di ogni comfort. È in pieno centro, ha il parcheggio interno al palazzo e a due minuti a piedi dal mare e da ogni servizio. Per chi ama le case antiche è una vera chicca. Se vi piace dormire fino a tardi portatevi i tappi perché le campagne della cattedrale di fronte a volte suonano piuttosto presto. We stayed here for a couple of days and had a great time. The owner is very kind and the place (calling it an apartment is rather an understatement) is huge. Beautiful, well located and equipped with every comfort. It is in the center, has parking inside the building and a two-minute walk from the sea and every service. For those who love old houses it is a real treat. If you like to sleep late bring your earplugs because the countryside of the cathedral opposite sometimes plays quite early.
S	Simon Mills on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed here between 17th and 19th of December whist making a short visit to the area. Our main focus was a day in Matera to visit the Salvador Dali exhibition and to have accommodation nearer to Bari Airport. When I located Palazzo Framarino Dei Malatesta, it seemed a curiously interesting opportunity and very different to the 4* and 5* hotels we would ordinarily seek out. So, we gave it a try. Space? Far more space than I can begin to describe, a fully kitted-out kitchen and coffee making apparatus, a Hallway, complete with suit of armour, a Ballroom, complete with piano and a large Bedroom with en-suite Bathroom. To have a selection of rooms at one’s sole disposal and for them all to have their history intact is an opportunity not so often available. We did not self-cater as we were not there particularly long and it is but a 5 minute walk to the square, where there are several cafes offering a good breakfast in the continental style. In the evening there are many eateries to choose from. After booking, I had one concern that, in December a big old palace house may be cold and uninviting. Forget that! It was better heated than my home. The family are helpful, friendly, organised us a driver and transfers from and to Bari Airport. All of it at very reasonable prices. If you wish for utter opulence, this place may not be for you. If you want to spend some days being trusted with a lot of history and architectural/decorative interest, just book!
