Location incredibile, nuovissima, terrazzo spettacolare e la sera fresco, tutta vetrata, dettagli di altissimo livello, stoviglie nuove, smart TV 55 pollici in camera, doccia enorme. Il proprietario poi è persona davvero amabile, ci ha coccolati dall'inizio alla fine. Grazie davvero per la splendida vacanza!

Incredible location, brand new, spectacular terrace and cool in the evening, all windows, top-level details, new dishes, 55-inch smart TV in the room, huge shower. The owner is a really nice person, he pampered us from start to finish. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die riesen grosse Penthouse Wohnung (die oberste) war die beste und schönste Wohnung, die wir jemals hatten! Wow, 10 Punkte sind definitiv zu wenig:) Wir wurden super betreut, die Ausstattung war perfekt und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. UND die Aussicht war auf der extrem grossen Terrasse atemberaubend. Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank an Domenico und natürlich auch an Giuseppe. Auch unsere drei Teenager, wie auch wir selber wollten fast keine Ausflüge mehr machen, weil die Wohnung zu schön war:) Für unser Mietauto hatten wir auch eine geschlossene Garage zur Verfügung.
The huge penthouse apartment (the top one) was the best and most beautiful apartment we have ever had! Wow, 10 points are definitely not enough :) We were well looked after, the equipment was perfect and we didn't miss anything. AND the view from the extremely large terrace was breathtaking. We would book the apartment again at any time! Many thanks to Domenico and of course also to Giuseppe. Our three teenagers, as well as ourselves, almost didn't want to go on excursions because the apartment was too nice :) We also had a closed garage available for our rental car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un grande appartamento, dotato di cinque camere da letto e due bagni, con un'ampia terrazza da cui si vede il mare.
La casa è moderna e ben tenuta ed è nel centro di Castellammare del Golfo: non serve quindi la macchina per uscire a cena - ma serve per raggiungere le spiagge più interessanti.
Forse la casa necessiterebbe di qualche accorgimento, tipo le tende alle finestre (ci sono le persiane, ma girare per casa con le persiane aperte vuol dire mostrarsi agli sguardi dei vicini) e un ombrellone o tendone sulla terrazza, che al momento è forse poco fruibile: di giorno è infatti molto esposta al sole, di sera la presenza di tantissimi ristoranti nei dintorni rende l'esperienza poco piacevole a causa dei forti odori provenienti dalle cucine.
La casa offre un garage, cosa molto importante a Castellammare in estate, ma nel caso di più macchine (e con cinque camere immagino che quasi tutti i clienti arriveranno con almeno due auto), la seconda macchina va lasciata in strada, cosa non proprio agevole in alta stagione. La casa è in piena ZTL, fra l'altro, quindi in ogni caso la macchina va messa a qualche centinaio di metri di distanza dopo le 21.00, per non incorrere in multe.
Detto ciò, l'appartamento è sicuramente bello ed elegante, ben arredato e dotato di extra quali macchina per il caffè e una grande e moderna TV. Tutte le camere hanno l'aria condizionata.
Il sig. Giuseppe, che gestisce la proprietà, si è dimostrato sempre attento e premuroso e lo ringraziamo per il supporto e la celerità con cui ci ha sempre risposto.

The house is modern and well maintained and is in the center of Castellammare del Golfo: you don't need a car to go out for dinner - but you do need to reach the most interesting beaches.
Perhaps the house would need some precautions, such as curtains on the windows (there are shutters, but walking around the house with the shutters open means showing yourself to the gaze of the neighbors) and an umbrella or awning on the terrace, which at the moment is perhaps not very usable. : during the day it is in fact very exposed to the sun, in the evening the presence of many restaurants in the surroundings makes the experience unpleasant due to the strong smells coming from the kitchens.
The house offers a garage, which is very important in Castellammare in the summer, but in the case of several cars (and with five bedrooms I imagine that almost all customers will arrive with at least two cars), the second car must be left on the street, which is not exactly easy. in high season. The house is in full ZTL, among other things, so in any case the car must be put a few hundred meters away after 21.00, in order not to incur fines.
That said, the apartment is certainly beautiful and stylish, well furnished and equipped with extras such as a coffee maker and a large, modern TV. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
Mr. Giuseppe, who manages the property, has always been attentive and thoughtful and we thank him for the support and speed with which he has always answered us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This apartment is perfectly located for a Sicilian vacation. It is just a few steps from this historic village with some of the best restaurants, gelato, and shopping nearby. The owner has thought of everything when outfitting this apartment - - - from the fully stocked kitchen, the comfortable brand new beds and awesome bathrooms. The balcony has the most spectacular view of the harbor. We had a blast spending our days either taking some sun on the terrace, spending the day at the beach or exploring the nearby towns and historical sights. The free parking was very convenient as the town closes the nearby streets in the summer for folks to have an evening stroll before or after dinner.

Palazzo del Golfo was our dream apartment in beautiful small town Castellammare del Golfo. Often happens that photographs lie... But when you come to Palazzo del Golfo you realize that reality is even better! What a view!!!
We travel a lot, we visited many places in Italy, but this place was better than anything before.
We spent almost two weeks in Palazzo del Golfo (family of four, two boys 9 and 15), but we could easily spend there few weeks more. Apartment was new, high quality of equipment. We cook a lot and were surprised how well kitchen was equiped. Apartment was extremely clean and beautifull. Large rooms, AC everywhere, great beds for quality sleep and fresh linen provided on regular basis. Garage was big plus since we were travelling with our own car. But you do not need anything of this the moment you step on this gorgeous terrace :-)!
Location was just perfect. In the middle of everything but still quiet so that you could relax every time, day or night. Castellammare is such a beautiful place for walks, swimming, drinks and enjoying great food and old sicilian architecture. Great port, starting point for many exursions by boat, diving etc. Great icecream just around corner. And nice people on every step!
But above all there was great communication with owner Domenico and manager Giuseppe. They both were very kind, helpful, always ready to help us just with everything we needed. Thank you both!
It was one of our best vacations. We would love to come back at first opportunity!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here with my husband and two adult children, aged 18 and 22 in September 2020.
From the time of booking the owner was super-helpful. The website showed very accurate photos of the apartment and we were excited to be there. I was provided information of many places in the village and the surrounding areas which I would find interesting and useful. When we checked in the local manager greeted us. He also was very helpful and was on hand for questions and help if needed.
The apartment was clean, spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed for a fantastic relaxing stay in Sicily, the location is fabulous, just over 30 minutes from Palermo airport, approximately an hour's drive to Palermo, and well situated for some lovely beaches and places of interest in the North-West. The village of Castellammare del Golfo is a picture-perfect village and you basically step-out into the heart of it, where there are plenty of fabulous restaurants within 10 minutes walk, more than enough to have a different venue every night without having to drive. There are amazing shops with very tempting local food and a beautiful harbour, we even hired a boat and sailed along the coast one afternoon.
This was our first stay in Sicily and we definitely wish to return.
