★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looked nice but unfortunately was closed on Mondays. Wish they would've put that on the site or something (we checked) because it was a bit annoying. In the end we found a great place to eat in Matera (la bruschetta) more than an hour later, but we went out of hour way to visit rabatana and Tursi and were counting on having a lunch meal here, a pity. Other option, a pizzeria next door was also closed. Rabatana itself was deserted but offered beautiful views. Someone should clean up to dog excrement (and some garbage) though!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place where to have some drinks at evenings or stay some days for holidays, in a very characteristic old town center recently renewed, it offers stunning views of landscapes, reaching the jonic coast. The local cuisine is one of the most tasteful of all the Italian traditional cuisine. Strongly adviced.
