★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to visit this place because of it's exterior but my were exceeded by the interior. It's beautiful both inside and outside. It also gives an idea of how the members of House of Savoy lived, full of luxury and beauty. Recommended, it is easy to get by bus although you will probably use at least two buses to arrive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mad place. Redefines the word "lodge"! Hunting lodge of the Savoy family. Nicely restored. Went to a Steve McCurry exhibition and visited the Palazzo at the same time. Huge grounds if you want to amble about. Good to visit if in the area. Parking in the stables in front of the complex.

Royal family that i visited on my trip, this by far was my favorite. Compared, for example to the reggia, the rooms were not set up as painting galleries but each had a unique feature that showed aspects of daily life; the audio app was well publicized and was not repetitive in pointing out what to focus on the room; and with The restorations it has gone recently you feel like you've been brought back in time:)
