★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trascorsi ormai da tanti anni i tempi gloriosi in cui giocavano squadre prestigiose come la Viola Basket, la Medinex Pallavolo e la Cadi calcio a 5, la struttura polisportiva sembra andare verso il declino. Unica speranza di rilancio è data dal fatto che qui si allena e disputa i match di campionato la squadra di calcio a 5 femminile Futsal Reggio, militante in serie A2... Speriamo che struttura e squadra crescano insieme...Auguri ed in bocca al lupo!
The glorious times in which prestigious teams such as Viola Basket, Medinex Pallavolo and Cadi Calcio a 5 have been playing for so many years have seemed to be on the decline. The only hope of revival is given by the fact that the 5-a-side soccer team Futsal Reggio, a militant in Serie A2, trains and competes in the championship matches ... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poca pulizia, freddo d'inverno, un forno dalla primavera in poi, struttura storica, costruita in poco tempo, ha ospitato competizioni europee, la mitica Viola, calcetto e altre manifestazioni sportive, da sempre poco curato, lo spazio esterno per parcheggi enorme, non troppo pulito, abbandonato e senza sicurezza.
Little cleaning, cold in winter, an oven from spring onwards, historic structure, built in a short time, has hosted European competitions, the legendary Viola, soccer and other sporting events, always poorly maintained, the huge outdoor parking space not too clean, abandoned and unsecured.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Storico palazzo dello sport costruito in meno di due mesi a metà degli anni 80, ha ospitato la Viola per tanti anni, ma anche Pallavolo e Calcio a 5 ad alto livello. Oggi è stato ridimensionato nella capienza ma reso più utilizzabile per realtà di medio livello. È gestito dalla società Vis di Reggio Calabria.
Historic sports palace built in less than two months in the mid-80s, it has hosted the Viola for many years, but also volleyball and high-level 5-a-side football. Today it has been reduced in capacity but made more usable for medium-level realities. It is managed by the Vis company of Reggio Calabria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel periodo estivo le temperature pomeridiane sono da sauna, sia per gli atleti che per gli spettatori. La struttura può supportare il contemporaneo utilizzo da parte di più tipi di attività, vista la sua grandezza. Buone le tribunette laterali , nonostante la cattiva manutenzione.
In the summer the afternoon temperatures are for the sauna, both for the athletes and for the spectators. The structure can support the simultaneous use by multiple types of activities, given its size. The side stands are good, despite poor maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bell'impianto sportivo rimodernato molto bene, funzionale e facilmente raggiungibile.
Ottima offerta di attività sportive. Si può fare basket, pallavolo, pattinaggio, pallamano, calcetto e le varie attività che si svolgono sul parquet. Avendolo visto oltre 10 anni fa sembra un altro pianeta.
Beautiful sports facility, very well modernized, functional and easily accessible.
