★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Padola è un carino paese di montagna con vocazione turistica dove si percepiscono ancora aspetti della vecchia vita di montagna. Merita sicuramente una visita. Io ci torno sempre volentieri.
Padola is a pretty mountain town with a tourist vocation where you can still perceive aspects of the old mountain life. Definitely worth a visit. I always go back willingly.

Superb small but beautiful place, called the second Cortina by the valley dwellers. Excellent for ski lovers but interesting as a linguistic island of the Ladin del Comelico.

Nice village, quiet, calm and surrounded by total greenery, immersed in a valley. The only flaw is short of dining options, especially for a quiet evening meal. But the pro of this country is its beautiful green landscape

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are lucky enough to be staying in this quaint mountain village for a week. A beautiful church in the center square highlights this place with various food and coffee shops surrounding it. One thing I noticed. I don’t believe the locals are that use to tourists and have a bit of non chalance serving them. Knowing Italian helps but there still seems to be that bias. Needless to say, we love it!
