Piazza Fontana is very beautiful. I know her for the massacre that took place on December 12, 1969 and the comlpabili are still unknown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piazza fontana, mercatino degli agricoltori che arrivavano a Milano e li potevano far bere i cavalli. Una volta, prima del fascismo, li c'era il Tribunale (piazza Beccaria) dove si emettevano condanne a morte (la pena fu fatta abolire grazie a una campagna di Beccaria, genero di Manzoni)
Da notare la storica lapide di Pinelli messa dai suoi compagni, e quella messa accanto dal comune molti anni dopo, per negare l'omicidio del Pinelli avvenuto on Questura
Piazza fontana, a market of farmers who came to Milan and could make their horses drink. Once, before fascism, there was the Court (piazza Beccaria) where death sentences were issued (the penalty was abolished thanks to a campaign by Beccaria, Manzoni's son-in-law)
Note the historic tombstone of Pinelli put by his companions, and the one placed next by the town many years later, to deny the murder of Pinelli that happened on Police Headquarters

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una piazza mitica ben strutturata che oltre a mantenere la memoria di un evento tragico per Milano, l'Italia ed il mondo è un oasi verde ed un centro di intersezione e comodo capolinea di due linee tranviarie:il 24. ed il 27che collegano il centro di Milano con le periferie.2 bar, confortevoli ,una bancarella di libri ed una edicola che non soltanto vende giornali e riviste ma anche permette di ottenere documenti vari dal comune con un piccolo sovrapprezzo senza dover fare lunghe code estenuanti la completano rendendola,a mio parere un esempio di miglioramento continuo di una città che pur essendo in continua evoluzione non dimentica le esigenze anche di mobilità dei singoli cittadini .
A well-structured mythical square which, in addition to keeping the memory of a tragic event for Milan, Italy and the world, is a green oasis and a center of intersection and convenient terminus of two tram lines: the 24th and 27th which connect the center of Milan with the suburbs. 2 comfortable bars, a book stall and a newsstand that not only sells newspapers and magazines but also allows you to obtain various documents from the municipality with a small surcharge without having to do long exhausting queues complete it making it, in my opinion is an example of continuous improvement of a city which, despite being constantly evolving, does not forget the mobility needs of individual citizens as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piazza Fontana beautiful place behind Duomo cathedral. A nice place to sit and relax with the sound of the water from the fountain. There is a tram terminus nearby and the square is well maintained and clean.
