1. They don’t know how to prepare steak tartare, it’s machine processed rather than hand cut, it has no preparation whatsoever just raw over processed meat with truffle, sorry guys that’s not gonna fly.
2. They are too arrogant to admit it and insist on charging half
3. However The pici truffle was good
Their service and attitude is shameful, even the best chefs create dishes that don’t work but these guys are too full of themselves to admit it.
This kind of place can twist an otherwise pleasant evening in your holiday, there are many better places to eat in this beautiful country

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best rated restaurant in the area but doesnt live up to it. Poor menu and over priced (in the sense that you can have same quality and service and views for less money elsewhere). We ordered steak tartar and it was completely dry and minced meat so we gave it back and they charged us half the price which is ridiculous in my opinion. Just dont want to loose money because they know tourists will keep coming and dont care about good customer service. We paid anyway because 10€ is nothing but it shows how cheap they are and how little they care.

I m Italian from Tuscany and i had a dinner with 4 friends here .We took some pasta al cinghiale ..and i have to say it was nothing special..the meat os actually not even feeling like real conghiale..is like if a machine mixed it with other meat and you can notice the texture..i totally advice to eat at Osteria del Moro..they know how to do it! the wine was good and the dessert also..My patner had pasta ai carciofi e caprino ..and also not so good like we think will be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ✒️In the premises of Terme di Saturnia Spa in Tuscany we landed on this “old frantoio” for a green Sunday lunch after bathing. Super vegetables, good meats for non vegetarians, splendid pastas and superbe cheese from the farmers. Kindness and so nice decorated tables on the terrace with a view ❗️?
