★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious. I had spaghetti and clams. When the waiter identified me as an English speaker he got the cook, who spoke English. The cook patiently translated items like "brodo" or "broth" which saved me from ordering pasta in soup on a hot night! The cover charge came with salumi and hot puffed savory pastry. The latter is hard to describe, but very good. It was reasonably priced, at 17 euros including wine and a liter of sparkling water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here for a late lunch and had the place to ourselves. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Wonderful ambiance, good food and very reasonable prices. My only regret is not trying the pane e salame risotto which sounds very interesting. Would (and likely will) go back!
