★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale molto accogliente, situato a poca distanza dall'omonimo castello. Parcheggio ampio nelle vicinanze. Siamo in piena Garfagnana e il menù è di tutto rispetto. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, specie negli abbinamenti. I prezzi sono proporzionati al menu e al tipo di porzione... E al fatto che il "fatto in casa" predomina. Ottima esperienza, consigliato.
 Very welcoming place, located a short distance from the castle of the same name. Ample parking nearby. We are in the middle of Garfagnana and the menu is very respectable. The staff is very kind and helpful, especially in the combinations. The prices are proportionate to the menu and the type of portion ... And to the fact that "homemade" predominates. Great experience, recommended.

Both the kids and parents liked the place and we returned doing our one week stay in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a tour of the amazingly restored Fortezza della Verrucole, we wanted a local lunch. Not expecting too much (not much right there) we trusted the word of a woman we meet on the road. She lived there so she might know if we should take the plunge.
A resounding and reading yes. Very fair prices, nice menu and very nice looking restaurant all said "You've come to the right place." Then the food and wine arrived and we wanted to move in.
What a great day trip from Lucca. Stunning, panoramic views, a 1000 year old Castle, very interesting tour (English and Italian) and very few tourists followed by a delicious lunch.
We were the only non-locals in the restaurant.
Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the nontourist spots and see parts of Italy that most never see. The rewards are great and you may also leave with a smile and a very happy palate.

We decided very spontaneously to come and eat here and we were amazed.
It is an incredible clean restaurant, the family who owns it is really lovely and the food!!! Wow!!! The price is so reasonable, I totally recommend this place. Don’t hesitate!
