La cucina è tipicamente piacentina con alcune varianti ad esempio paella che Presumo sia su ordinazione. La scelta dei vini è prevalentemente incentrata su una vasta disponibilità di vini della Val Tidone e della Val luretta Very welcoming environment in a central and historic area of Piacenza. The cuisine is typically Piacenza with some variations such as paella which I assume is made to order. The choice of wines is mainly focused on a wide range of wines from Val Tidone and Val Luretta

Direi che è proprio quello che cerchiamo quando vogliamo scoprire la gastronomia di una città mentre siamo in viaggio: gentilezza e tradizione. Super easy-going, typical and super good! A Piacenza per lavoro in ospedale a fine aprile, gironzolando per il centro a caccia di un locale aperto dove pranzare, ad aprile per via del covid trovare un locale aperto era ancora difficile. Passiamo davanti a La Trappola, entriamo e veniamo accolti da Daniela in maniera gentilissima, nel rispetto delle misure anti-covid. Conosciamo subito anche Daniele, persona davvero splendida, gentile e professionale che, tra una chiacchiera e l’altra, senza mai essere invadente, ci dice che siamo i primi clienti, aveva appena aperto, nuova gestione, dopo un lungo periodo di stop causa covid. Locale pulito e accogliente. I posti all’esterno non sono tanti ma ora che si può stare anche all’interno lo spazio non manca. Piatti della tradizione Piacentina, e non solo, di ottima qualità accompagnati da ottimi vini. Tanto buoni che siamo tornati nei giorni successivi sia a pranzo che a cena assaggiando un po’ tutto il menù. Rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero ottimo. In più la loro simpatia e compagnia, in un periodo non bello, è quel qualcosa in più che ti fa davvero sentire a casa. Grazie. Tornerò più che volentieri. Lo consiglio vivamente. We pass in front of La Trappola, enter and are greeted by Daniela in a very kind way, in compliance with anti-covid measures. We also immediately know Daniele, a truly splendid, kind and professional person who, between a chat and the other, without ever being intrusive, tells us that we are the first customers, he had just opened, new management, after a long period of stop due to covid . Clean and welcoming place. There are not many places outside, but now that you can also stay inside, there is no lack of space. Traditional Piacenza dishes, and not only, of excellent quality accompanied by excellent wines. So good that we returned in the following days for both lunch and dinner, tasting a bit of the whole menu. Very good quality / price ratio. In addition, their sympathy and company, in a bad period, is that extra something that really makes you feel at home. Thank you. I will come back more than willingly. I highly recommend it.

Subito veniamo accolti con modo amichevole e famigliare com'è giusto che sia in un'osteria. Il Titolare coinvolge i suoi ospiti come un vero Oste e fa sentire i suoi ospiti a proprio agio con il suo piacevole accento Piacentino. La location semplice ma curata fa da contorno ad una cucina tradizionale e gustosa e come si fa nelle vere osterie il vino viene servito nella scodella di porcellana. Tornando ai piatti abbiamo trovato tutto molto squisito,dai salumi fino al dolce (crema allo zabaione FAVOLOSA). Le chicche alla salsiccia sgrassata con cacio del Po erano qualcosa di DIVINO! Pienamente soddisfatti. We stumbled upon this restaurant in the center of Piacenza by chance. We are immediately greeted with a friendly and familiar way as it should be in a tavern. The Owner involves his guests like a real Innkeeper and makes his guests feel at ease with his pleasant Piacentino accent. The simple but well-kept location surrounds a traditional and tasty cuisine and as is done in real taverns, the wine is served in a porcelain bowl. Returning to the dishes we found everything very exquisite, from salami to dessert (FABULOUS zabaglione cream). The goodies with defatted sausage with cacio del Po were something DIVINE! Fully satisfied.
