★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Topical Osteria with Veneto cuisine. This place is usually crowded so, a reservation is required. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is very welcoming. All the food was delicious. We had affettati misti (ham, coppa and soppressa), pasta with beans (fagioli), bigoli with sausages and leaks, cotechino with vegetables. There is a very good wine choice. I recommend the lugana (white wine).
Toilets are inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6.29.18 - our last night in Italy and this was a great meal. The appetizers were great, especially the porchetta. We saw another table order the burrata, apples, and priscuitto that looked delicious. The pasta were okay with the mussels and clams a little too salty and al dente, the duck bolognese pasta was a tad salty. The tiramisu was done well with real moscopone cheese, espresso, and lady fingers with the right balance.
Make sure to make reservations or show up with 30 minutes of open because the place fills up fast and most tables are reserved. There is a bar to order drinks, but so sure if you can order food.
The staff is amazingly nice and patient. We had Elena or Helena serve us and she was very attentive and hustled with the other wait staff while Gorgio manned the bar and ran food, too.

At 20.00 while we are waiting for the waitress in empty restaurant, we set outside to wait and ask can we have dinner.
After ten minutes she came and said that the restaurant is super super superbusy.
And said STAND UP AND LEAVE.
While we are leaving she said ‘ Che cazzo’.
This is unacceptable, rude and unpolite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited l'Anfora after 2 years corona-induced break. Did not enjoy as much as previously. The food became simple and plain. The service was Okey. Tiramisu was just average. The prices did not change. Average-minus value for your money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing restaurant, probably the nicest "home-cooking" style Italian food I've ever head. Great wine as well.
Lovely staff (so friendly, and translated the menu for me!), great vibe in the place, very reasonable prices.
Tried to go a second time and it was fully booked! I'd visit Padua again to go here.

But luckily we didn‘t, and i can highly recommend it for everyone, who is looking for real, authentical, and fresh italian food. The menue changes daily, so you get whatever fresh ingredients are available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best: food and deco. Tried the fegato alla veneziana con polenta that was super good. The prices are the average and the portions are normal to generous. The decoration is vintage, a lot of wood and books. The attention of the waitress can improve tho.
