★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is this what xenophobia feels like? We were waiting to order a drink for at least 30 minutes, made eye contact with both waiters several times and kept getting ignored. We finally left when another couple that had just arrived got their order taken within minutes of sitting down. This was definitely not an accident or misunderstanding but purposeful denial of service. I have never experienced anything like this and would definitely not recommend.

I'm not complaining about a long wait here but about being ignored. I have waited longer on busy days and left good reviews. The table we sat on was cleared and clean. No misunderstanding there.
I'm not going to humiliate myself and go inside to beg for service after sitting outside, looking your employees in the eyes and raising my hand to show that I'm ready to order. Multiple times. If your waiters can't interpret that, they are either grossly incompetent or ignoring me on purpose. Since they seemed competent enough with other guests, I have to assume that they either didn't like my face or had a problem with my nationality or that of my wife. Any consequences you get from my original comment, you deserve. This is my personal experience. I don't know why your staff ignored us but they certainly did and that is a fact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was trying to pay, the old sir and the old lady (from the staff) treated me and my friends really bad! They both shouted at us because of the social distance which themselves or other italian clients were not even respectful of at the moment because of the crowd. Even though we are fully vaccinated and has a green pass and we were trying to do our best just like the rest of the crowd! But they treated us quite bad just because we are foreigner students! They discriminated us and said really racist things. Guys (especially if you are foreigners) don't go there ever, because there are lot of discrimination and disrispect going on there. Vergognatevi, Caffè Della Piazzetta!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Italian experience. A small coffee shop with very good service. Prices are under the surrounding area, without affecting the quality of the products.
This is placed between old buildings with a view you usually find in movies depicting genuine Italian old style coffee shops.
Look up Piazzetta del Ghetto to find it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming bistro with outside seating in a small piazza in Padua. We stopped in mid-October and ordered everything from coffee to sandwiches to specialty pastas to salads. Everyone was extremely happy with their choices! The staff was pleasant and worked hard to accommodate our larger group in their small locale. Buonissimo & Bravissimi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 6.29.18 - stopped here for a drink while waiting for dinner to open. The staff us super nice and they let us sit inside in the back with the A/C with our family. We ordered the Campari and Arone spritz, other of which are very good.
The food looks pretty good too and their main seating area is outside in the piazza.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! We had lunch here and the food was very good! Great atmosphere to eat on the lovely terrace with the sun. Unfortunately we don’t speak Italian but the waiters were extremely friendly and we gave it our best and it worked out fine.

I’ve ordered a few different items, from salad to pasta, and I am always impressed and satisfied. The staff is also so kind and patient, as I’m an American living in Padua, trying to learn Italian! I would absolutely recommend this place.
