I wanted to do is take my in laws out for a nice meal for all they have done for us while we visited from Canada and heard that Osteria Tortellino was a fancy restaurant. In the end no it is not I ended up sick all night. I tried their tortellini special which was served in two courses. It was 18 tortellini’s 9 at a time for 18 euro (1 euro per tortellini) and took them almost 30 minutes in between courses to serve. I was hungry after such a little portion in the first course that we ate some of our kids meals. We had to remind them to serve the second course and by the time it came everyone had already finished 10 minutes earlier and we were full from cleaning up everyone else’s scraps while waiting for the second course. They never offered a second bottle of wine even though we told them we would want several bottles of Prosecco. They never replenished the water and tried to serve us a desert we never ordered. At the till they took 18 euro’s off for poor serves but charged us for an additional desert we never ordered in the end it was not a great experience and sadly my last meal in Italy was brutta (been better if we went to McDonalds). We were the second customers of the night and were served terribly; I do not recommend this restaurant at all. I give 1 star only for the ambience otherwise 0 star for how we were treated is all it deserves. An excuse of serving us after everyone else is served is lame; as everyone should finish their meals together. Never again.....
