 Beautiful village in the evening! Rustic and well maintained restaurant as expected. Right portions not exaggerated. First without particular notes of merit. Good mixed grill. Fried dumpling too greasy for my taste. Honest price.

Tutto molto buono, dagli antipasti al dolce.
La carne è risultata di qualità e cotta alla perfezione (considerando che abbiamo preso portate completamente diverse: dalla picanha, alla grigliata mista).
La ragazza che ci ha servito è stata attenta, precisa e sempre disponibile.
Prezzo commisurato alla qualità offerta.
Rimane un punto di riferimento importante per chi, come me (pur forestiero), ama la cucina modenese!

All very good, from appetizers to desserts.
The meat turned out to be of quality and cooked to perfection (considering that we took completely different courses: from the picanha, to the mixed grill).
The girl who served us was attentive, precise and always available.
Price commensurate with the quality offered.
It remains an important point of reference for those who, like me (albeit a foreigner), love Modenese cuisine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumbled upon this place as we were staying nearby, and the server was amazingly accommodating of our poco d'italiano. The atmosphere is cozy and the food, largely cooked over a wood fire in the kitchen, is outstanding!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding hospitality, exceptional hearty food, delicious wine and all in an absolutely fantastic location. The restaurant is just outside a medieval castle, if you arrive in time you can take a walk to the ancient Oratorio di San Michele through the grasparossa vineyards, working up an appetite before enjoying a glass of lambrusco made from the same grapes (they traditionally have it at room temperature instead of cold in this town, although cold is available too!). Do not miss the charcoal grill or the local specialities like the gnoccho fritto and tigele. Could not recommend more - what a place, we will be back.
