Propone un menù a base di piadine tipiche con gusti veramente ricercati utilizzando solo ottime materie prime. Non si può prenotare ed è necessario fare abbastanza fila per sedersi ma nel vale assolutamente la pena. Wonderful tavern in the historic center of Santarcangelo di Romagna. The restaurant has a summer outdoor area and an indoor winter area. It offers a menu based on typical wraps with truly refined tastes using only excellent raw materials. You cannot book and you need to queue up enough to sit in but it is absolutely worth it.

L'unica nota negativa è che non c'è un menù con i possibili ingredienti (o forse nn ci è stato dato) e quindi non sapendo cosa poter ordinare ci siamo fatti portare un "cesto degustazione", veramente buonissimo.. ma nessuno ci ha spiegato com'era composto quando ce l'hanno servito, quindi boh, tornando non saprei cmq cosa ordinare ? Per concludere: 1 cesto degustazione + 2 mezze piadine dolci, 2 acque e 1caffe, totale 33€. PS. Il locale nn prende prenotazioni, quindi chi prima arriva prima mangia e i tempi rischiano di diventare lunghi. Consigliato Local intimate immersed in a suggestive hamlet .. and the wraps are a fairy tale. The only negative note is that there is no menu with the possible ingredients (or maybe it wasn't given to us) and therefore, not knowing what to order, we had a "tasting basket", really delicious .. but no one there he explained how it was composed when they served it, so boh, coming back, I don't know what to order ? To conclude: 1 tasting basket + 2 sweet half wraps, 2 waters and 1 coffee, total € 33. PS. The restaurant does not take reservations, so whoever arrives first eats and the times are likely to become long. Recommended

Si mangiano esclusivamente piadine, non c'è menù, sostituito dalle proposte del titolare che offre farciture per tutti i gusti, dalle più classiche alle più particolari, come ad esempio le buonissime piadine al prosciutto e fichi freschi, oppure lardo arancia e granella di pistacchi, fragole e philadelfia, e così via, tutte una più buona dell'altra. L'impasto della piadina è fragrante e veramente digeribile. Location unica, nella parte più alta di Santarcangelo ai piedi del "Campanone". Proprietari cordiali. 5 super deserved stars! G	Guido Muscioni on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place to eat piadina in Romagna. Normal and special type of different ingredients to put inside. The personal is helpful and very friendly. Sometimes there is a long queue outside, but it is worth waiting.
D	Dea Metuli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Santarcangelo di Romagna is one of the most underestimated destinations by tourists in Rimini. The Borgo is a medioeval destination where you can experience proper local food, surrounded by a magical air. Osteria del Campanone definetly helps to create that environment. The restaurant is located under the clock tower, so once you get nearby the arch, you only have to climb up those stairs. There is a restaurant at every corner, but Osteria del Campanone is a must among locals when it comes to piadinas. You cannot say you have been to Romagna if you haven't tried piadinas, which is the typical flatbread made with lard (careful vegans! Ask for the one made with olive oil instead!). Inside, you can ask for any filling. Generally, it is either prosciutto (crudo or cotto) and a type of cheese (you will hear mostly stracchino or squaquerone). Once you get to the Osteria, they don't have a menu. So, you can either ask the waiters or get their "degustazione", which is a basket made for minimum 2 people where you can find some of their best piadinas. My favourite is prosciutto crudo and caramelised figs. They can get quite creative, so it is probably better to ask, if you have any specific allergy or intolerance. The only reason why I am not putting 5 stars is for the queue. We had to wait 1h 30 min to get a table for two. They don't accept reservations and, due to covid, they are only making available very few tables outsite (around 12 tables). Therefore, try to be there around 18.30 and you will probably have a table around 19 when they open. Get ready for at least 30 minutes waiting outside!
