β β β β β Food was decent but the service was mediocre at best. Too many patrons and not enough staff. We never received our bottle of wine although we inquired twice as to its whereabouts. A meal without wine? Isn't that considered a sin in Italy? If you're there when it's slow, your experience should be fine.

β β β β β Absolutely loved this place! Even though we hadn't made a reservation on a busy Saturday right after Valentine's day they gave us a reservation to come back at 22h and enjoy a lovely dinner. The lasagna was lovely, but mainly the meat.... yummie! I would love to come back here if I return to Ravenna. Osteria dei Battibecchi gives an original feel of an Osteria, combined with great food and excellent wines.

β β β β β The most delicious meal, fantastic service and wait-staff advice. Risotto porchini, polenta Ragu, goats cheese with figs, and chocolate and orange cake. Topped off with the waiters recommended bottle of Sangiovese superior Oddone. 10/10. Price, service and food. We are eating here again this week. Outstanding.

β β β β β The food was terrific. Itβs a Must. We had a wonderful experience. The people were very friendly and we had the best tagliata di manzo. Everything was delicious! We picked the food from the suggestions from the waiter :)

β β β β β Had a great leisurely lunch, the food was delicious especially the lasagna al forno. Service was relaxed, some might consider it slow but why hurry a good meal. If Iβm ever in Ravenna again, Iβd go back here.

β β β β β Was one of the Osteria d Italia suggestions for Ravenna so I had to try it. Decided on lunch and it was excellent. The host speaks good English, the menu is all local wine list covers all Italy . My main was Amazing Soft fresh cheese served with caramelized figs. So delicious. I also had a small tortellini dish also exceptional. I didn't have many full meals in Ravenna as Aperitivo ruled but this was outstanding. Put it on your list.
