★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW!! amazing food! We shared two plates that we got recommended. We also have the cookies for dessert with the liquor. We loved everything. We want to go back to Ravenna just to eat there again. If you are planing to go there, don’t doubt it, just go there! You won’t regret it. One of the best food we had in Italy.

It is a local with two large dining areas and an entrance with some tables and a lot of wines on the wall
The prices are fair for the food and wine.
Risotto and pasta were perfect al dente but we missed the little extra in taste we got the day before in an Osteria in Rimini.
The Castrato (male sheep côtelette) were a bit dry. My beef cottlette on the hot stone was perfect rare but missed a bit a special meet you get sometimes when you got a selected piece from a particular cow race.
The decoration of vegetables, potatoes and bred was too much for me but very good.
Service was fast, but we missed a bit the time for explanation and specially a wine list. You depend on the waiter or if you know a wine yourself.
As a wine lover I expected a better explanation and recommendations, but I have not been asked my preferences.
Prices for the wines were good although and we got a bag to take the not finished red with us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, very characteristic, but the table service was not as nice as I was expecting. Nice dishes and meat, but nothing like a bit of bread or piadina to offer with that as a usual “coperto” of an Italian place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally I got to eat at Ca' de Vèn...at my 6th visit to Ravenna...and I loved it! Great location, beautiful restaurant with superb food. I had Cappelletti al ragù and Tagliata di manzo with Verdure gratinate o grigliate would love to try more from the menu, maybe next year. Friendly and helpful staff Really recomend

Me and my colleagues were done in this place twice within a week. Food is fabulous and environment is fantastic.
