Their "cacio e pepe" pasta was good, if you rate it simply as another pasta dish. But if you rate it against other "cacio e pepe", I found it quite underwhelming (the sauce was stringy and not all smooth, as it should be). Food aside, the service was poor. We waited roughly 15 minutes after sitting down to order food, even though we knew what we wanted immediately. We ended up having to ask 3 different servers to take our order, and each time they would say that somebody else was "coming". If I had to judge the place outside of the experience I had, I would say that it's a restaurant with good classic pasta dishes (they make their fresh pasta by hand in open view) as well as other Italian classics, but overall it's mostly for tourists. Personally I would not return. You can find better Italian restaurants in Milan.

Osteria Da Fortunata is the definition of authentic Italian cuisine. We ordered two pasta dishes and both of them were incredible. The gnocchi was the best I have personally tried - literally melting in your mouth. A great meal to experience Italian pasta in Milan!

A good place. Pasta is cooked right here. With my own hands. But I didn’t like the fact that the waiter came up and asked if we had finished eating, although it was clear that we were still sitting. He just wanted to seat someone else from the queue at the table.

Are you looking for a place to eat pasta at Brera? Well look no further. This place has a reputation for making good pasta and surely it is made as you wait which is a nice touch. There are 4 or 5 types of pasta to choose from, and then each type has 2 or 3 sauces as well. We got 4 different ones to try as many as possible. The cacio and pepper and carbonara were quite good, the other two were quite average (hence why I don't really remember what we ordered. Deserts were alright and service fast and effective. I do believe that most of the restaurants in Brera are kind of tourist focused so you will probably get a similar experience wherever you go.

Great place to eat in the area of Brera, we went for an early dinner on Saturday although later there was a large queue so you need to keep this in mind. The food was wonderful, the only thing that didn't stand out was the simple greens salad but the Caprese was very tasty! The fresh pasta (we tried Tagliolini and Strozzapretti) was amazing, a bit too hard for what we're used to but the sauces were amazing, cacio pepe, tomato and Basil, Amatriciana and carbonara con Carciofi! Also the tiramisu was phenomenal, we enjoyed every bit of it, so creamy! It was a bit pricey but all worth it for a true Italian dinner! Also the wine we had was very good and the servers very friendly and helpful, and one of the few places where they didn't have trouble speaking English so that was a plus! Definitely would suggest it either if you're a tourist or a local looking for authentic Italian food!

Very exited to go to this place! Waited for an hour in line. The pasta Is Ok, fresh make in front of you. The different sauces we tried were extremely salty, no authentic flavour. Very disappointed! I really don’t understand why this has so many good reviews.in my experience this is a tourist trap, the price is to much for the quality of plates. Service was quick and good.

This place serves the best pasta I ate in my life. Everything that came to the table was delicious and we ended up being so full we had to give up on dessert! There was no way to order a table so we waited about 20 min for one but it was totally worth it. The service was great as well and the host/manager (unsure really) was such a nice and handsome gentleman. 100% coming back on my next visit to Milan/Rome/Bologna
