S	Simone Ialongo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La location molto molto bella è caratteristica. Il servizio molto accogliente dato che la proprietaria è molto simpatica è disponibile. Il menù fisso che ci ha preparato è stato decisamente soddisfacente. Antipasto molto leggero con prodotti locali. La pasta locale i cosiddetti pici cacio, pepe e noci veramente buonissimi. Pappardelle al cinghiale squisite. Mentre per gli gnocchi con il brunello e pecorino non hanno soddisfatto tutti quanti. Poi ci ha portato 3 4 bistecche alla fiorentina e un po di tagliata di chianina veramente ottime. Poi anche uno spezzatino speziato che anche quello non è stato di gradimento per tutti. Per i dolci crostata fatta in casa e tozzetti. Il vino fatto dalle loro cantine veramente speciale. Tutto questo a soli 35 euro. Che dire se passate per Montalcino è non sapete cosa fare a pranzo questo è il posto giusto. The very very beautiful location is characteristic. The very welcoming service as the owner is very nice is helpful. The set menu he prepared for us was very satisfying. Very light appetizer with local products. The local pasta, the so-called pici with cheese, pepper and walnuts, really delicious. Delicious pappardelle with wild boar. While for the gnocchi with brunello and pecorino they did not satisfy everyone. Then he brought us 3 4 Florentine steaks and some really good tagliata di Chianina. Then also a spicy stew that even that was not to everyone's liking. For the desserts, homemade tart and tozzetti. The wine made from their cellars is truly special. All this for only 35 euros. What to say if you pass through Montalcino and you don't know what to do for lunch, this is the right place.

Il posto è alla buona, ma di quelli che ti lasciano un qualcosa in più di un ristorante curato ma con poca anima, sicuramente c’è amore sia nella preparazione che nella ricerca delle materie prime e si sente. Ho letto recensioni da una stella per aver atteso “addirittura” un quarto d’ora senza contare che sono due signore e che fanno quello che possono nonostante il ristorante pieno. Parentesi sull’attesa a parte, ho mangiato da Dio andateci. The staff really courteous. The lady's eyes sparkled when she explained the preparation of the peposo. The place is cheap, but those that leave you something more than a well-kept restaurant with little soul, surely there is love both in the preparation and in the search for raw materials and you can feel it. I read reviews from one star for waiting "even" a quarter of an hour not to mention that they are two ladies and they do what they can despite the full restaurant. Parenthesis on waiting aside, I ate from God go there.
S	Susan M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent three weeks in Italy from Bellagio to Sorrento we ate here twice because the food was so good. My husband had the gnocchi with Brunello sauce. I had the pear & Gorgonzola pasta. Both excellent. Even the pizza dough “bread” was delicious.

Sadly I couldn't express it to the service - they were not around. I was hoping, they would apply some of the love that Montalcino shows for wine to our food. I hope we caught just a bad day, but really can't understand the high rating.
