★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight we closed our holiday with dinner at Osteria d'Alberto in Brissago. A small restaurant in a small village in the mountains behind Luino. First class dining and we've been there from 20:30 to 1:00. The evening ended with host Alessio d'Alberto at the table who treated us after a coffee with grappa on a delicious glass of vermouth. It must be one of the best restaurants in the region and to me it has more than confirmed Italy's reputation as the number 1 country in the world in culinary area. Grazie Allessio and Italy !!! We'll be back ...
