β β β β β This place was recommended by our host. The menu which changes monthly was small and local and absolutely delicious. Wine was available by the glass or bottle with great local Valpolicella wines and other Italian wines at very reasonable prices. Service was quick and very friendly. We had a great time here and would highly recommend it.

β β β β β Located not far from the river just off Regaste St Zeno this restaurant is a gem with an excellent menu, great wines and outstanding staff who thankfully have much better English than my Italian.
I started with the mixed meats, cheese and local pickle which was absolutely delicious as well as being a very generous helping.
For my main I had the Octopus which I thought could have done with a sauce but the octopus was beautifully tender.
We had a bottle of the Valpolicella Classico Superiore which was superb and well recommended.
Our waitress/host was excellent and very helpful in assisting us to choose and ordering a taxi for us at the end of the meal.
The total cost of the meal for 4 of 2 courses with 2 deserts and a bottle of wine was just over 140 euros which was amazing value.
A must visit if in Verona.
