Arrivato con una fetta di polenta grigliata e fredda ricoperta da uno stracotto freddo e gelatinoso. Purtroppo questo è il servizio che forse viene offerto ai non locali.. da emiliana posso dire mai più…. Nice place, excellent cut of meat ... tender and lean. Unfortunately this was not the case with polenta and stew. Arrived with a slice of grilled and cold polenta covered with a cold and gelatinous stew. Unfortunately this is the service that is perhaps offered to non-locals .. as an Emilian I can say never again….

Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, cucina locale ma con ingredienti di ottima scelta, pietanze abbondanti e ben presentate. Abbiamo lasciato quasi carta bianca al gestore, fra l'altro simpaticissimo e, soprattutto, professionale e molto competente. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. Locale caratteristico e molto bello. Da ritornarci, sicuramente. I would say excellent "gastronomic" experience! We ate really well, local cuisine but with excellent choice ingredients, abundant and well presented dishes. We have almost given carte blanche to the manager, among other things very nice and, above all, professional and very competent. Excellent value for money. Characteristic and very nice place. To go back, for sure.

Il locale è una vera e propria osteria rimasta un pezzo d'antiquariato e per questo ci si crea l'aspettativa di piatti abbondanti. Bigoli con le sarde veramente sopraffini. Elvezia da dimenticare. The food is very good, typical Mantuan flavors but with the small defect that the dishes are a bit empty especially when compared with the quality-price ratio. The restaurant is a real osteria that has remained an antique piece and for this reason the expectation of abundant dishes is created. Bigoli with truly superfine sardines. Helvezia to forget.

Maccheroni ottimi e la tagliata alla Nerone più che eccellenza, vista la morbidezza e il sapore. Vino della casa Lambrusco con un sapore amabile, perfetto da accompagnare con ogni tipo di piatto del menù. Very welcoming owners. Very good quality of the dishes, at the same simple. Personale molto gentile e aria di famiglia. Informale, ma molto piacevole, ci si sente a casa. Tortelli di zucca spaziali e maccheroncini con stracotto molto gustosi. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro! Il locale è veramente bello, come una vera e propria osteria e per questo ci si crea l'aspettativa di piatti abbondanti. Prezzo un po’ alto rispetto alla quantità. Maccheroncini al torchio con stracotto buonissimi. Dolce chiamato “Elvezia” che non ha niente a che fare con l’Elvezia vera e propria. The food is good, typical Mantuan flavors but dishes that are a bit scarce when compared to the fact that we are in a tavern. The place is really beautiful, like a real tavern and for this reason the expectation of abundant dishes is created. Price a little high compared to the quantity. Maccheroncini al torchio with overcooked delicious. Sweet called "Elvezia" which has nothing to do with real Elvezia.
