Sergio ci ha trattati davvero benissimo, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il prezzo, qualità insuperabile. Mio padre è molto difficile da accontentare e invece è rimasto davvero contento perché sono riusciti a realizzare proprio ciò che volevamo noi. L’originalità del disegno, la cura nell’esecuzione e l’eventuale abbinamento con pietre preziose o semipreziose rispondono a logiche non facilmente riscontrabili altrove. Pur nella loro eccezionale bravura sono entrambi di grande semplicità, Per avere lavorato per circa trent’anni in questo settore, dopo averne visti tanti di oggetti preziosi, era invalsa in me una forma di indifferenza ai gioielli, non ne avevo più desiderio alcuno. Le creazioni di Sergio Tranfo e della moglie Titti sono riuscite a farmi ritornare il desiderio di cose belle e preziose. Mi sono concessa qualcosa e ne ho fatto dono alle mie belle nipoti, e lo farò ancora. Porgo a loro tanti auguri. Ha sbagliato ben due volte, offrendo giustificazioni insensate e per nulla professionali. Ha fallito ad avvertirmi che l anello fosse pronto. Quando l'ho contattato dicendo che piuttosto cancellavo la commissione, mi ha informato che era pronto dal giorno prima. Mi sono recata in negozio ma purtroppo, visto che il lavoro era pessimo ho chiesto il rimborso del pagamento anticipato, £25 per aumentare di qualche punto, che avevo fatto in buona fede credendo di aver a che fare con una persona competente. Gli ho chiesto di riportarlo alle condizioni iniziali, ma invece preso indietro molto più argento di quello che ha usato (lo posso provare con semplice matematica). Ma siccome continuava a negare l evidenza ho lasciato perdere perché con gli imbroglioni è inutile insistere e sono andata via, temendo che iniziasse a innervosirsi e diventare intimidante. Ha inoltre detto di aver pulito l'anello che è sporco proprio come prima. Adesso purtroppo non posso nemmeno indossarlo perché ha tagliato il pezzo di argento (troppo, lo ribadisco) e non lo ha limato bene. Se ci fossero zero stelle, o un numero negativo di stelle avrei optato per -5. Non andate a questo laboratorio. Dishonest and incompetent. One would expect a goldsmith to at least know how to take a ring size. Unfortunately not him. He was wrong twice, offering senseless and not at all professional justifications. He failed to warn me that the ring was ready. When I contacted him saying that I would rather cancel the commission, he informed me that it was ready from the day before.
