Orbetello Family Camping Village

Very dirty although it is very expensive. Management very rude without good manners. Talking dirty words in front of children. Mobile homes very dirty and in very bad shape. Food disgusting and expensive. Plagued with mosquitoes. Never again. Worst experience in a beautiful country.

As a foreigner I can say that the village has the poorest costumer service standars. I saw the village manager treating really bad some kids, using the "f" words and taking them by the neck. I know it is not my country, but this behaviour would have finished in jail "in my country". I paid approx. 1400 US for one week. Extremely expensive for the I received. During the first three days, I have to go to the reception because things were not working properly. The kitchen and bathroom were clogged, the fridge was broken and the house was really dirty. Sincerely, it is not worth it. If you want to trash your money, just go there and have a nightmare.

There in July 2017 with family. Full of mosquitos: children with legs full of very painful red spots. Further more, we had clear impression to be in a money machine place. Restaurant was no good quality despite the price, very hot even in the evening, then having chosen half treatment for the day you could not sit outside to leave room for those eating a la carte. But the worst was that we booked from the camping site spendongfor 2 adults, a six year old and a dog 1800 eur (400 for the restaurant). So 1400 eur for the camping. Then from friends with 2 children we discovered that bookinrg thru a tour operator like vagues oceanes or tohapi we would have spent 795 euro a wk for the same identical light blue mobile home (we visited the one of our new friends and checked on the internet site of the tour operator the spending). When we complained with the camping direction they answered that they did not know there were mobile homes managed by tour operator in the camping. That is of course truly impossibile for many reasons (security, legal, accounting). There are at least 4 tour operators in the camping and anyone can clearly see form the big signs on the motorhome So truly sad esperience of being tricked for money. LATER XXXX Before leaving we spoke with the responsible person who tried to justify 600 euro difference with bed linen, tv and 150 nearer to swimming pool. After the Robbery, also this insult .... He the tried to settle offering 200 euro back.. no way!! This Is confirmation they are se are of they are doing!!!!

Between a 3 and a 4, because of some restrictions to use the pool and additional cost, traffic proximity. Otherwise a great place with direct beach access across the street, luckily not as much traffic as we feared. The tent houses very still very new.

Totally over crowded. The prices for the camping place were almost double of what I paid elsewhere in Italy. On top youhave to pay extra for a chair at the pool or beach. The "free" wifi is a total scam. You get 500MB for free, but only if you agree to give away all your personal data for marketing purposes. If you want more MBs you pay exorbitant prices. The food in the restaurants is regular but the waiters are arrogant. My feeling when I left: a total scam!

Positive: pools, beach, supermarket, breakfast Negative: at check-in they barely gave infos. No flyer with opening hours of the pool, market, breakfast, diner. Our safari lodge plus tent was dirty wenn we arrived. As our daughter was sick we had no time to complain and cleaned it ourselves. Cuttlery was dirty, there was food and waste from previous guests… We decided to leave one day early. At check out they didn’t even ask how our stay was or why we decided to leave early…

Unfriendly staff and very high prices.
