Talamone Camping Village

Does the trick. But not more. Unfriendly staff (that grumpy supermarket lady...), Toilettes are dirtholes, restaurant food is extremely overpriced for what you get. And the beach is heaven for kite surfing, but not for swimming. Won't return.

Animation/music is way too loud at night, and it runs till half past eleven. And the restaurant service was really bad and unfriendly and when I addressed that I was told I dont have to come any more if I dont like it. You then realize youre not really a guest, youre just a tourist for them. Apart from that the camping village was ok. I would not return though.

Clean campsite and friendly staff. Toilets and showers where clean. There are a lot of things you can do there including animation during the day. It's close to the beach where I walked to. Talamone is also possible to walk to. It is a nice town at the ocean.

Negative: Quite crowded, obsolete washrooms with dirty toilets (with no paper, or only in the early morning... !), sipping taps, sinks for dishes and clothes with only cold water. WiFi signal mostly quite weak or even non-existent. Positive: beautifully located, huge pitches under pine trees with enough shadow. Nice pool-area (but unfortunately with quite dirty water), very friendly staff at the bar! ?Delicious snacks and coffee ? Camping close to Talamone (<2 km) and the sea (approx. 500 m).

I've been spending almost two weeks at the Talamone Camping Village between end of June and beginnig of July 2021 with my family (1 kid 12we years old). Beeing a Camping Village different solution were available and we selected the "Villino" which is basically a prefabricated private house with all needed services, so my comments will refer to that accomodation. The house itself, was well positioned within the village on a high hill with a nice view on the Talamone bay area, but the inside was not as neat as expected and especially the kitchen was badly equipeed in case we would have liked to cook and eat there. Not enough storage space a limited availability of pots and a damaged table not possible to be used. Restroom in good conditions and clean and the sleeping room as expceted even if everything looks poorly maintained. The internet site already informed that the first day the delivery of the houses could have delays and not granted for a specific timing, anyhow due to personal reasons communicated earlier we were expecting to have a different treatment which was not the case, so be prepared to be treated according to the rules (nothing wrong with it but....). Internal swimming pools looks old and also here maintenance doesn't seems to be a priority, maybe COVID 19 closures of the past year have limited availability, anyhow the impression is far from good. Internal Restaurant is good and at right prices, just not designed to support the full capacity of the place and so booking needs to be well in advance. The beach is 500 meters away and included in the price we had two sunbeds, and the umbrella. Good enough. Some of the very positive thinks of this place are: 1) It is at the end of a road, so no trafic at all, and also far away from railway and highway, that is not easy to find when you are on the cost in Tuscany. 2) very close to the "Parco Naturale della Maremma" so if you like to hike or bike, you can just start your trip from the Village itself. 3) If you like to Windsurf, or kite surf, this is the place to be. So overall I'm not sure I would return in this place mainly because the cost of the House was in my opinion high comperad to the quality of it, but if this is not the main element of selection I feel I could reccomend the place.

Everything was good except the disgraceful bathrooms old and dirty; basically a hole (sh*t and go). In the middle of a pandemic there were not hand soap. The first 2 days the music was too loud. I didn’t see people disinfecting the pool chairs. The old man in the restaurant extremely unfriendly, otherwise the rest of the staff is friendly and nice.

Good restaurant, clean toilets, likeable stuff. Mini market and 2 nice swimming pools. The beach is ok, it’s very windy and there isn’t a lot of space actually if u don’t want to pay… all in all a very cool place to be!

For the past 2 weeks, my boyfriend and I have been at the Camping Talamone Village campsite. The pitch was good. The location was also beautiful. But the front desk staff was extremely unfriendly. They were not helpful, cooperative and welcoming. We barely got an answer to many questions, the queues for the reception are extremely long, and when we wanted to book an excursion I got a sigh. We also asked if we could rent two pillows, because we had forgotten these from the Netherlands. The answer was no. I find that remarkable for a campsite with thousands of bungalows and houses for rent. The plumbing was dirty. The pool was dirty. The supermarket was sparse. Incidentally, the staff of the supermarket and the restaurant were very friendly. But all in all we have had a bad experience with this campsite, which is in large part due to the staff at the reception.
