★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un bel restauro dell'edificio importante per il mondo universale della medicina, vi si trova la tomba di Bernardino Ramazzini. Il corpo é stato riconosciuto qualche anno fa' da un team di anatomo patologi dell'università di Padova. Ramazzini é stato il primo al mondo, verso la metà del '600 ad occuparsi dei rapporti tra lavoro e malattia compilando il trattato " De morbis artificum diatriba". È citato dall'economista Adam Smith e dal filosofo Carlo Max sul "capitale" primo libro capitolo 4 che tratta delle plusvalenze etc. Suo è il motto " meglio prevenire che curare."
È stato professore di Medicina a Modena e poi in tarda età a Padova dove muore nel 1713. É il padre indiscusso della medicina del lavoro conosciuto e aprezzato per questo in tutto il mondo e a cui dobbiamo molto. Scopritore inoltre del Chinino contro le febbri malariche. È il primo al mondo che individua lo stato di non maternità ( suora, monaca o altro) come fattore di rischio per cancro al seno.
A beautiful restoration of the building important for the universal world of medicine, there is the tomb of Bernardino Ramazzini. The body was recognized a few years ago by a team of pathologists from the University of Padua. Ramazzini was the first in the world, towards the middle of the 17th century, to deal with the relationship between work and illness by compiling the treatise "De morbis artificum diatriba". It is quoted by the economist Adam Smith and the philosopher Carlo Max on the "capital" first book chapter 4 which deals with capital gains etc. His motto is "better to be safe than sorry."
He was professor of Medicine in Modena and then in old age in Padua where he died in 1713. He is the undisputed father of occupational medicine known and appreciated for this all over the world and to whom we owe a lot. Also discoverer of Quinine against malarial fevers. It is the first in the world to identify the state of non-maternity (nun, nun or other) as a risk factor for breast cancer.
