È stata un'ora di arte pura, di spiegazione, di poesia, di pratica(ho sbalzato uno scudo) ho capito la differenza fra i pupi e le marionette. Ho visto quanto lavoro, fatica forza servono per costruire e manovrare i pupi. Grazie, è stato bellissimo. E grazie per tenere viva questa tradizione. A unique experience is the guided tour. I was welcomed with kindness and passion. It was an hour of pure art, of explanation, of poetry, of practice (I raised a shield) I understood the difference between puppets and marionettes. I saw how much work, effort and strength are needed to build and operate the puppets. Thanks, it was great. And thank you for keeping this tradition alive.

Abbiamo scoperto le differenze tra pupi, marionette e burattini e appreso i segreti dell'arte del puparo. Mia figlia di 6 anni è rimasta affascinata. Ha realizzato insieme al signor Giuseppe uno scudo utilizzando la tecnica a sbalzo ed è salita sul palcoscenico scoprendo cosa si nasconde dietro le quinte di uno spettacolo teatrale. La prima cosa che mi ha detto quando siamo uscite è stata: "mamma, quando torniamo?" Torneremo presto signor Giuseppe, insieme a tanti altri bimbi. Grazie davvero delle emozioni che ci ha regalato e della meravigliosa esperienza che ha fatto vivere a mia figlia. Beautiful experience! Led by Mr. Giuseppe Grasso we made a wonderful journey into the world of Sicilian puppets. We discovered the differences between puppets, marionettes and puppets and learned the secrets of the puppet art. My 6 year old daughter was fascinated. Together with Mr. Giuseppe she created a shield using the cantilever technique and went up on stage to discover what lies behind the scenes of a theatrical performance. The first thing he said to me when we went out was: "Mom, when are we going back?" We will be back soon Mr. Giuseppe, along with many other children. Thank you very much for the emotions it gave us and the wonderful experience it gave my daughter.

This is really where you get to know the Sicilian popular culture and and big heart, it helps to understand their values. Tano and Pippo Grasso are fabulous hosts, they know everything about this art and tradition as they literally grew up with it. We could not recommend more for a great family night.
