Eravamo in zona e ci hanno consigliato di visitare questo frantoio per acquistare dell'ottimo olio. Dopo una calorosa accoglienza da parte dei titolari abbiamo degustato alcuni dei loro oli (uno più buono dell'altro) ed alla fine ne abbiamo portato un bel pò su al Nord. Con molta sincerità ammetto di non avere mai assaggiato un olio così buono, l'olio Erbesso è semplicemente stratosferico ! If you are in Chiaramonte Gulfi a visit to this oil mill is mandatory! We were in the area and they advised us to visit this oil mill to buy excellent oil. After a warm welcome from the owners we tasted some of their oils (one better than the other) and in the end we brought quite a few up to the North. With great sincerity I admit that I have never tasted such a good oil, Erbesso oil is simply stratospheric!

Un oleificio che vive da ormai 5 generazioni che hanno saputo sviluppare e fare crescere una attività nel cuore della Sicilia davvero stupenda. Ottimi prodotti, possibile anche l acquisto scrivendo loro direttamente. Degustazione olio da memoriale. Tutti gentilissimi. Da provare assolutamente! Wonderful experience. Luciano really good at explaining and showing all the olive processing steps. An oil mill that has been living for five generations now and has been able to develop and grow a truly wonderful activity in the heart of Sicily. Ho chiesto una spedizione a Milano e il prodotto è arrivato in pochissimo tempo. Efficienti e trasparenti e...con un prodotto eccellente! Lo consiglio vivamente. Ci siamo " accordati" che avrei chiamato l'indomani per un orario da stabilire Cosi' e' stato !! ABBIAMO ASPETTATO 20 minuti! L'orario lo abbiamo fissato in "accordo reciproco" . Sul posto scoprivamo che l'olio costava • 9,00€ non tracciabile(!) • 11,00€ non certificato(!) • 14,00€ certificato ^^ abbiamo scelto quello da 11,00 € perche' l'alternativa era non prenderne nulla!! Ci vuole chiarezza e soprattutto puntualita' ! With telephone "agreements" you informed me that the oil was at 9.00 euros per liter. We "agreed" that I would call the next day for a time to be determined So it was !! WE WAITED 20 minutes! We have set the time in "mutual agreement". On the spot we discovered that the oil was expensive • € 9.00 not traceable (!) • € 11.00 not certified (!) • € 14.00 certificate ^^ we chose the € 11.00 one because the alternative was not to take anything !! We need clarity and above all punctuality!

We got to get a tour of the production factory and tasting experience. Bought a few different kinds of olio. Now we run out and emailed to order more it came in few days, all the way from Sicily! My husband and I were very thankful to have him hosted us for this visit and tasted their beautiful selection of olive oils. Luciano showed us a video on how olive oil is made from harvest, production to bottling. He also explained personally the functions of the different equipment on the step by step production process. We also learnt how to taste EVOO in a pro way. From their award winning DOP Mount Ibeli Erbresso to their newly flavoured BBQ olive oil, the EVOO were delicate yet packed with flavours. We even got a chance to meet Luciano's father and they are all very warm and friendly. I won't hesitate to recommend anyone to buy their olive oils as they are truly top notch quality ?
