★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noi, gente etnea, abbiamo sempre la presunzione di sentirci come "Figli di un Dio Maggiore". Il resto dell' Isola, per noi, ha sempre qualcosa di inferiore in confronto al nostro territorio.
Ma stavolta accantoniamo la Nocellara dell'Etna e ci muoviamo per conoscere la Tonda Iblea di Chiaramonte Gulfi da cui si ricava un EVO delicato e profumato.
Con un po' di fortuna il nostro tour parte dagli antichi ulivi del buon Sebastiano esperto agricoltore e seguendo le sue verdissime olive raggiungiamo l'Oleificio Catanzaro gestito dal bravissimo Maurizio e dalla moglie Silvia. Una vera Officina del gusto, ammiriamo l'oro verde che sgorga come da una sorgente di delizie. Gli ambienti e gli impianti del Frantoio sono igienicamente perfetti. Maurizio e' un gran lavoratore cortese ed onesto,
con una modesta cifra ci inviera' l'oro verde degli Iblei al nostro domicilio in Terra Etnea. Chissa' se la nostra Nocellara sara' contenta di trovarsi in casa una concorrente di tal valore, ma le diremo che e' tutto merito del saggio Sebastiano e del Oleificio Catanzaro.
 We, people of Etna, always have the presumption of feeling like "Sons of a Greater God". The rest of the island, for us, always has something inferior in comparison to our territory.
But this time we put aside the Nocellara dell'Etna and we move to know the Tonda Iblea di Chiaramonte Gulfi from which a delicate and fragrant EVO is obtained.
With a little luck, our tour starts from the ancient olive trees of the good Sebastiano expert farmer and following his green olives we reach the Catanzaro Oil Mill managed by the excellent Maurizio and his wife Silvia. A real workshop of taste, we admire the green gold that flows as from a source of delights. The environments and systems of the Frantoio are hygienically perfect. Maurizio is a hard worker, courteous and honest,
with a modest sum he will send us the green gold of the Iblei to our domicile in Terra Etnea. I wonder if our Nocellara will be happy to find such a valuable competitor at home, but we will tell her that it is all thanks to the wise Sebastiano and the Oleificio Catanzaro.
