On mange très bien ici, les chambres suffisantes pour passer un séjour agréable. Pas trop loin du sanctuaire La Verna, par la forêt 25 minutes à pied. Le stanze sono pulite meglio e spaziose meglio di molti hotel . Non male la colazione! For those who want a little peace and silence, this is the right place surrounded by greenery, 2 km from the convent of San Francesco. Inserito in una natura meravigliosa sull'Appennino Aretino. Ottima l'accoglienza e l'ospitalità! Consiglio di chiedere ad un frate di guidarvi alla visita del posto. Difficult place to evaluate given the spiritual importance. Anyway beautiful sanctuary immersed in the woods. Esperienza nuova ed emozionante da fare in un monastero, quindi partiamo belli carichi. Non andiamo subito a La Verna, ma facciamo altri giri per vedere anche Camaldoli. Alle 13 vengo a sapere che la nostra camera non è più disponibile perché ci sono le suore. Ma come? Quando ho fissato non lo sapevano? Oppure hanno dato via ugualmente la nostra camera, preferendo le religiose a noi?? Delirio totale. È ferragosto e non si trova nessun altro albergo. I proprietari dovevano comunque trovare una soluzione. Non si può partire con una sicurezza e poche ore prima, con le valigie in macchina e quasi arrivati sul posto, sentirsi dire.. Mi dispiace tanto, ma non abbiamo più disponibilità... No no e ancora no. Per me possono tutti affondare. Brutta gente, menefreghista e mascherata da falsa gentilezza. Weekend rovinato. Non ho mai avuto un'esperienza così negativa in tanti anni di viaggi. Pessimo comportamento. Per me possono chiudere. Fixed dinner and overnight stay for two people for one night on the weekend of August. New and exciting experience to do in a monastery, so we leave full loads. We don't go straight to La Verna, but we do other laps to see Camaldoli too. At 1 pm I learn that our room is no longer available because the nuns are there. But how? When I stared didn't they know? Or have they given away our room anyway, preferring the religious to us? Total delirium. It is mid-August and there is no other hotel. The owners still had to find a solution. You cannot leave with confidence and a few hours before, with the suitcases in the car and almost arrived on the spot, to be told .. I'm so sorry, but we no longer have availability ... No no and still no. For me they can all sink. Ugly people, indifferent and disguised as false kindness. Ruined weekend. I have never had such a bad experience in many years of travel. Bad behavior. For me they can close.
