This is a gem hidden in the tourist traps area. We were sceptical about the food in the beginning, but it turned out to be the best pasta carbonara we had in Rome. This restaurant is also popular among locals. We saw that many tables ordered chef's special. Wish we have done the same! It looks delicious.

Stopped here on the walk between Testaccio and the Colosseo/Foro Romano. As the name suggests, this restaurant is right next to Circo Maximo. There is outdoor sidewalk and indoor seating. We both had pizzas that were very good. Fresh ingredients, flavors blended well together. The crust was a bit crunchier than much of the Roman pizza I’ve had here. I had some trouble cutting it. Overall, very good, though. The waiter mentioned a special that I wish I’d ordered because it sounded so interesting: tuna tartare with strawberry gazpacho and burrata. If you’re offered something like this, don’t turn it down! So unique. Anyway, good pizza, convenient location, and friendly service.

Very nice place. The food is so delicious and there four or five different sorts of mozzarella on the menu. Really exceptional and not too expensive but it feels expensive with a familiar touch of nice people. Thank you I will definitely recommend.

Food was ok and service too. I was expecting more though. Beautiful decor. The apple cinnamon pie was very different and not that good. The pizza and carbonara were good...the frita was disappointing.

Very good aperitivo, the venue offers snacks and freshly backed mortazza (small pizza bread with salamis on top) to go with the drinks. Polite and friendly staff Update: Best carbonara with black truffle ?

We stepped in for a coffee and a snack. The place looked happy and full of locals, but we ended up waiting for ages to be served, and my ceaser bagel was a complete mistake. It must have remembered the previous week, if not Caesar's times...

Nice lunch place - good artisan pizzas, sallads, focaccias. The disappointing part was the drinks - 7 EUR for a tap beer seemed a bit too much

The most amazing Italian cuisine experience in Rome. Whether you're new in town, a tourist passing through, or just trying the restaurant for the first time, the incredibly friendly and helpful staff here who speak both English and Italian will make you feel like a local regular. You should definitely try one of their pastas, as the thick, chewy pasta that is perfectly al dente will change how you see pastas completely. Also, ask for the chef's specialty, the Little Pig. It's an Italian high-dining experience that you just can't miss.
