★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I got our first Gelato of our 6 day Rome trip here, so there is no comparison yet. But these were amazing. I got After Eight and Pistachio. The After Eight had a bit more nettle taste than mint, but was still good. The pistachio was divine though. Two scoops for €2,50

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING. This place wins hands down. Better than all the other 5 famous gelato places I have tried. The texture is so smooth yet creamy it's unreal. The taste is rich. Cozy place, staff speaks English and so helpful. Well worth going all the way a bit out of the center. Hope to see them open in more places soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing gelato!! Super creamy and delicious; you can taste the purity of the ingredients - ie without artificial flavours, colourings or preservatives. By far the best gelato I’ve had in Rome. The Amadei gelato is marvellous (I may be biased as I love this Tuscan chocolate brand to start with), the pistachio di Bronte melts in your mouth into your heart... going back today to try other flavours, including the domori 100% chocolate, stracciatella and maybe the pistachio from Syria or the zabaione or the ricotta... can’t choose!!
The space is also quite lovely, big, clean, pleasant, with free water and plugs to charge your phone if needed! But even without these great extras, I would go totally out of my way just for this gelato. It’s really worth it!!!
Update:
I went back to this gelateria for 3 days following the first time on 17/04 (basically until I left Rome). Origina post was 18/04/19.
So I tried the cioccolato sur del lago 100%, stracciatella, zabaione, ricotta, pistacchio di Syria, nocciola, creme all’uovo, neve di latte and cioccolato abinao 85%
They are all very good, but my favourites are still the first ones I got, cioccolato Amadei and pistacchio di Bronte, though nocciola was also delicious!!! (Stracciatella is the only one that I would not get again; I had better ones in other gelaterias)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best gelato I had during my trip, and I visited at least 20 shops. This one meet tht hype. Very friendly staff. I had three cups of 3 flavors:
Variegato
Arachadi
Nocciola
Pistachio
Banana
Amarena
Avocado
Custard
Chocolate abinao 85%
I really liked the variegato, amarena, and banana. The shop was very clean too.
