I sacerdoti che si avvicendano in questa chiesa, don Silvio, don Fabio e Don Bangaly, insieme al grande parroco Don Massimo hanno risollevato l'interesse dei fedeli grazie alla loro preparazione, alla loro intelligenza e alla loro disponibilità. E la comunità è loro molto grata. The ancient parish church which preserves the historical memory of the town. It dates back to the 14th century. The priests who alternate in this church, Don Silvio, Don Fabio and Don Bangaly, together with the great parish priest Don Massimo have raised the interest of the faithful thanks to their preparation, their intelligence and their availability. And the community is very grateful to them.

E' la terza chiesa costruita in loco: la prima pietra fu posata il 22 giugno 1388, come attesta la lapide in caratteri gotici nella penitenzieria. Successivi ampliamenti sono avvenuti nel 1577 e nel 1796, quando assunse la forma attuale. L'incendio del 1815 ha comportato ulteriori restauri, ma l'interno è quasi uniformemente neoclassico. Notevole in particolare l'organo a canne, progettato nel 1778 da Antonio Chiesa: è stato rivisto da Livio Tornaghi nel 1853. La chiesa conserva anche il monumento Serbelloni (1781), qui trasportato dal Castello Sforzesco di Milano in epoca napoleonica. Parish since 1605, it has a fresh and restful oratory. It is the third church built on site: the first stone was laid on June 22, 1388, as evidenced by the plaque in Gothic characters in the penitentiary. Subsequent extensions took place in 1577 and 1796, when it assumed its present form. The fire of 1815 involved further restorations, but the interior is almost uniformly neoclassical. Particularly noteworthy is the pipe organ, designed in 1778 by Antonio Chiesa: it was revised by Livio Tornaghi in 1853. The church also preserves the Serbelloni monument (1781), transported here from the Castello Sforzesco in Milan in the Napoleonic era.

A small parish with a small oratory with small rooms compared to my similar places in the city ...... but with many activities with the oratory full of boys every Saturday with an incredible shouting ..... good.
