Loved it! Went in March on a weekday, were the only ones there, had the whole vast territory to ourselves. A brilliant, relaxing place. Helpful gentleman at the front desk.

This could have been a great place if it had any information at all in English! Sure, the displays were really interesting, and mostly self-explanatory, but it was hard to put what we saw into a context. The excavated city outside was fascinating to look at, but again no context. All we knew is that we were looking at really old remains of a settlement.

I haven't been to this Museum yet, but my grandparents went a couple decades ago. They said it is a phenomenal Museum with great staff. I hope to visit within the next 5 years.

I had an amazing time in this museum and archeological town remains. Museum is small and staff is very welcoming. But the former town area is really big and surroundings are so beautiful. Totally worth the 40 minute train ride from Bologna central station. Everything is also translated to English and they have great 2D models how the buildings used to look. But my favourite parts were definitely Necropolis and Acropolis. When you are there, all by yourself, you can imagine yourself walking through the streets of Kainua in its former glory.
